Yes, it's copycat, but it's dirt cheap and has only 4 mg. sodium per tablespoon

    Recipe #16892

Similar to Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning.

    Recipe #50478

This essentially Hidden Valley's Ranch Dressing and Seasoning mix. I don't like to use that stuff because (last I checked) it has msg in it.

Can't remember where I found this but it is a household staple.

    Recipe #237987

I don't know where I got this, but it works. The whipped cream will keep for a week in the fridge without deflating... great for party make-ahead.

    Recipe #74805

I just love the sound of the blend of garlic, cumin and lime with the cilantro in this Cilantro Cream Sauce recipe. When I came across it on the Allrecipes website and read some of the hundred or so rave reviews that had been written, I checked the Zaar recipes, which all sounded quite different again from this one and, I thought, well there are probably some other Zaar members who would also like to try this recipe. Being timid around spicy flavours, I’ll be leaving those out – whereas some chefs will I know be increasing their heat – but the rest of the flavour combinations sound really tempting. I was also struck by the versatility offered by this recipe, something that is also true of the other Zaar recipes for Cilantro Sauce, some of which I’ve saved and will also be trying. I particularly liked the sound of Merlot’s Hazelnut & Cilantro Pasta Sauce #31361. Amy’s Cilantro Cream Sauce can be used as a dip, as a sauce for grilled fish, chicken or steamed vegetables, as a salad dressing, folded through mashed potatoes or as a pasta sauce. Since I haven’t yet made this, I’ve posted it exactly as I found it on the Allrecipes website. Thank you, Amy. Some reviewers had made it with low fat cheese and cream with excellent results, some added chopped green onions and some used fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. I’ll be looking for an alternative to the tomatillo salsa. Any suggestions are most welcome. I’ve estimated the preparation time to be 5-10 minutes.

This is a great way to use fresh blackberries when they are in season. So very good! Serve over gourmet mixed greens with slices of avocado, mangos, fresh strawberries, pink grapefruit, blackberries & purple onions. From 2004 Southern Living Annual Recipes.

This is a very nice, basic oatmeal bread for your bread machine that I do make fairly often. The ingredients are simple, and great for those avoiding dairy products, since it's made with water. I think you'll like it. NOTE: I never tried it with wheat germ, but I'd bet it would be great! Baking time will vary based on your machine.

A friend and I have recently become addicted to coffee with flavoured creamers (mmm... International Delight...), and then... I ran out - and so did the local store! So I hunted down recipes online until I found this one - it's sweet and creamy and (most importantly - to me, at least) not a powder!!! It's from thriftyfun.com.

    Recipe #191026

This recipe contains no eggs which makes it safe for the elderly, this is very good!

    Recipe #190519

I got this recipe from a family Christmas party, but I make it year round. It goes great with chips, sandwiches, vegetables; pretty much anything!

    Recipe #17649

Try this over a salad of fresh fruits and greens.

    Recipe #190859

I use this all-purpose balanced seasoning blend EVERY day! It's great on chicken, pork, beef, soups, stews, pasta salads, and just about any vegetable you can think of, especially fresh tomatoes and potatoes. I always double or triple the recipe, and keep it in a shaker by my stove. It can be made with or without the salt-substitute or salt, and still impart a delicious flavor.

    Recipe #54330

Spice this up even further by adding 1 teaspoon each nutmeg and allspice, and 1/4 teaspoon white pepper. You may choose to omit the French vanilla creamer, and use 2 teaspoons vanilla extract instead. To do so, mix the vanilla into the sugar, let it dry, then break the sugar into small lumps. Follow the same procedure as above. A quick, but very appreciative THANK YOU to the reviewers who aren't receiving zmail!

I like the Irish cream recipes that have egg in them, but it does sometimes make me a little nervous. Here is a good version that is egg-free.

    Recipe #191608

Nice and spicy, just the way I like it. How about you?

    Recipe #29317

A wonderful frosting I have used for years made in very little time with perfect results and 100% better than any canned, this frosting is so good you will find yourself eating a fair amount of it before even using it to frost with! --- choose the amount of cocoa powder you desire for either a light, medium or dark frosting, and make certain to sift the cocoa powder and the confectioners sugar before using for the recipe--- this frosting *freezes* very well so double the recipe and freeze one batch for next time --- *NOTE* for an ultra creamy fluffy milk chocolate frosting add in 1 to 1-1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip topping at the end of mixing the frosting and beat on low speed until blended ------- also see my recipe#80118 ---- recipe#282040 --- recipe#90142

    Recipe #89207

After experimenting with many different spice combinations over the years for me this is the closest to the store-bought package taco seasoning --- I always increase this recipe 10x and keep in a glass jar tightly covered in my fridge to have ready for recipes, if you like lots of heat then adjust the cayenne pepper to taste or you may omit completely, if you can find some dried granulated tomato powder then add about 1-2 teaspoons with the mix, I purchase mine at a bulk spice store it really gives the seasoning a lift, the amounts stated are equivalent to one package taco seasoning mix -- don't save this mix to use only for tacos, add some in your recipes to kick up the flavor, it's even great in chili, ground beef mixture for casseroles, stew, soups, and add some into you hamburger mixture for burgers, I even add this to my Parmesan meatballs --- this also makes a great gift for the cook on your list just increase amounts and present in a fancy glass jar.

Posted in request; obtained in web search. As someone who loves oatmeal, I think I'll make me some of THIS! :)

    Recipe #117063

If you bake and cook everyday then this is a must to have in your cupboard, it's so much cheaper than using cooking spray and works even better than Pam cooking spray, no chemical fumes and will not leave burnt on black residue on the edges of your pans like cooking spray will and will keep forever in your cupboard --- for baking recipes using chocolate you may use 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder in place of white flour or 1/4 cup each cocoa powder and flour --- this may be increased or decreased sucessfully just make certain that *all* three ingredients are the same amounts or the mixture will not work as well ;-)
