From Culinary Tour magazine. Chicken broth can be substituted for the vodka if you wish. This is fun to serve to guests because they are each given a "shot glass" of dressing for pouring over the salad! No ID required.

    Recipe #147126

I've gone to Carrabas many times just for this soup. A lady from my supper club happened to bring this in for our soup theme and it tasted exactly like Carrabas! I've substituted Italian turkey many times and you would never notice the difference. You might also want to sprinkle some fresh basil and Parmesan cheese on top. Its good with a crusty piece of bread!

Another great recipe I found that sounds great!! Let me know how you like it if you try it before I do!

    Recipe #65353

My sister in law gave me this recipe. It is pretty darn good. Thanks Janet!

    Recipe #186536

This recipe was developed for RSC #9. (Thank you Tigerduck for the wonderful ingredient list). Each bite offers a different flavor in this bar that is rich sweet and candy like. A decadent treat sure to impress. The cook time includes time in the fridge. They should be cut in very small pieces as they are very sweet!

These are baked, not fried, so healthier! And they turn out crispy! (just make sure to spray cakes before coating and refrigerate for 1 hour before baking!) NOTE: Frozen whole cranberries can be used. No need to thaw.

I came up with this recipe when I had a lot of bananas and fresh blueberries to use up. I didn't want to make my usual fattening blueberry muffins or banana bread, so I experimented and came up with this instead. We thought it was pretty good for being low in fat!

    Recipe #93426

Very rich taste and unique twist on an old favorite. Goes quite well served with a grilled steak or chicken breast. A wonderful recipe given to me by my dear friend (and great cook) Amy.

    Recipe #110317

This is a very versatile chili recipe that also tastes great! They key is the ground turkey breast, which has almost no fat (1 gm per serving vs. 12 gm for most store-bought regular ground turkey). You can easily lower the heat by removing the seeds and pith (white stuff) from some or all of the peppers. If you want to make it Vegetarian, you can remove the turkey and substitute cubed Tofu (or not) and use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. You can also use the dry ingredients by themselves as a nice chili powder for other recipes.

A super tasty dish-always a favorite at Chez Willi

Very tasty! Worth the work of getting the pomegranate seeds out. You can use fuyu persimmons crunchy or soft, we prefer them at least a little soft.

    Recipe #264107

November/December 2005 RR magazine. Looks great for Fall dinners!

    Recipe #248982

This is an easy and versatile, quick meal. Use any type of cooked meat and serve this over steamed rice or cooked noodles. Use low-fat coconut milk if you like. I found this in the Chicago Tribune.

    Recipe #141287

This recipe comes from Chef Michael Smith at the Food Network. My fiance and I make this quite often as it makes a quick, light lunch. Would also work great as an appetizer. This recipe is quite versatile so feel free to substitute ingredients as you like.

The recipe was adapted from a recipe that I found in Best of the Best from Alaska Cookbook. These are really good and can be served with tartar sauce on the side or on a whole wheat bun.

Pampered Chef - It's Good For You - Still not fat-free but a reduced-fat version of a classic dish.

The base idea for this recipe came from a diet cookbook, but I've made a great many changes over the years. This is one of my favorite recipes, because it's very flavorful and reheats well. I usually use no-boil lasagna noodles for convenience, but have also had very good results with whole-wheat lasagna noodles boiled just to the point of being slightly "under cooked". Also, the shredded mozzarella can be replaced with pre-shredded "mixed Italian cheeses" available at most grocery stores. Finally, the Classico brand pesto tends to be very liquid, which is good for this recipe. If you can't find this brand and the pesto that you use is very thick, try mixing in a teaspoon or so of olive oil.

    Recipe #183828

This pizza has a pesto sauce base with chicken, artichokes, goat cheese, and sun dried tomatoes. My husband and I fell in love with it when we ate at an Ultimate California Pizza joint while on vacation. I doubt we will ever see a location near us so I created this very similar version. In the summer, I love to make this one on the grill.
