Healthy and delicious. If you think you'll want more sauce, double the amounts of the first 4 ingredients. I use "lite" (lower sodium) soy sauce. In step 5, you may need to lift the steamer basket and replenish the water in the saucepan.
I found this online and have been meaning to try it--it sounds fabulous and gets great reviews on the other site. I'm putting it here for safekeeping--If you try it, let me know how it turns out!
ETA: I have tried this now and we love it! It's a very quick and good way to prepare salmon.

Salmon fillets marinated in Irish whiskey and honey have a glazed look as well as a superb taste and texture. Irish whiskey has a slightly peppery taste.
A delicious combination!
From Food and Drink.
Prep time includes marinating time.
A good friend of mine gave me this recipe. It's really yum. And easy too.
The oil in the recipe helps so it won't stick on the grill.
Cooking time includes marinating time of one hour. You may marinate longer if you wish.
Last week I went to a place called 'The Salmon Shop' and came back heavily loaded, I'm determined to eat all the 30 salmon cutlets in a different way! This is an original recipe I came up with, note the amount of chili and pepper gives quite a spicy result, some might like to reduce the quantity.
I read Derf's "Spiced Salmon" recipe (#137983) with interest since it also uses chutney as I do, but we prefer our salmon grilled w/the smoky, lime flavor of this marinade. I use the marinade all day & then reserve it to use for a sauce I make while my DH grills the salmon. We love this & the combination of the salmon & the marinade sauce has been a big hit with our friends.
I just loooooove the combination of lime and fresh coriander. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. In this recipe from 'Delia Smith's Winter Collection', you've got it on top of the salmon as well as in the salsa. Of course you can only do the salmon or only the salsa, but the two go really well together. I served this with what we call here 'wild rice mix'. It's white long grain rice with pieces of wild rice in it. Marinating time is NOT included in the cooking time. The ingredients and in particular the salsa is very much like Tex-Mex cuisine.
Had this in a restaurant and have experimented with the filling to get to this. Lots of variation possibilities with this one. Create, dear ZaarChefs! To sauce or not to sauce...that is the question. LOL Note: Prep time does not include refrigerator time.
