I'm a huge mushroom fan, love them prepared all kinds of ways. This recipe uses the expected lasagna noodles and classic cheeses found in lasagna, but instead of a tomato sauce, it has a rich white sauce loaded with mushrooms. Add some garlic bread and a salad, and you are set for your meal!

    Recipe #412902

This is one of my favorite Hors D'oeuvres. Creamy, crunchy and nutty. Delicious. You can also use this filling to stuff cherry tomatoes, or Belgian endive.

    Recipe #382592

From the Essential Best Foods Cookbook, this is too good to only serve on Thanksgiving.

    Recipe #339236

If you don't have saffron you can leave it out. Using instant rice brings down the total cook time.

    Recipe #335791

I love broccoli, and I love cream cheese, so this is a natural for me! When I was growing up, we always had that broccoli casserole with the rice, cheese, and cream of chicken, mushroom, or celery soup. But I have been trying to avoid the sodium content in the cream of "whatever" soups, and found that this broccoli casserole is really tastey! I've listed topping it with bread crumbs or ritz crackers, whichever is your preference. Do not use both...it is too much breading on top! I've also made this using fresh chopped broccoli and garlic, great either way! I hope you enjoy it!

    Recipe #335597

I love rice soups. This idea came from a chicken curry pita my friend was eating.

The taste of a buffalo wing in a whole roasted chicken! This would be great with a salad that has bleu cheese. Grandma clipped this from a "Woman's World" magazine and sent it my way. Spicy!

Something different to banish burger burn-out! You can substitute lean ground pork, chicken or beef. Adapted from a China Boy recipe.

I found this recipe on FoodNetwork by Danny Boome, whom hosts their new show "Rescue Chef." Perfect balance of flavors. We have this at least once a week. It's good even without the shrimp. I double the sauce because our family likes it saucier. I also have all ingredients ready before I begin cooking.

I don't remember where I found this recipe, but I'm looking forward to trying it.

This is oober easy and comes out delicious every single time! I love my crockpot and this is one of the recipes/reasons why. The idea here is very tender meat, chunks of mushrooms all served over egg noodles. A salad would add color and round out the meal.

    Recipe #311634

Pleases even the pickiest eater! Full of flavor, you won't miss the meat! VERY inexpensive and delicious. We're not always the healthiest eaters, but we love this healthy meal!

I came up with this when I have left over green enchilada sauce. DH really liked this. Great served with mashed potatoes or rice. This would be a great OAMC dish because you can put the sauce over the chicken before freezing and use it like a dump chicken dish.

Siu mai or Siomai are steamed dumplings but with an open top. They're just so delicious that every time I go to Chinese restaurants or take out, expect me to order this as an appetizer. My Mom/sis used to prepare this as well and is good served with a dip of soy sauce mixed with any of these: calamansi/lemon/lime/kumquat. Now that I have to make it, there are times I opt out on the water chestnuts since I don't have them but it hardly changes a thing. :D Serving size really depends. Sauce recipe: 1/4 cup soy sauce and 1 tsp lemon or lime or calamansi or kumquat.

This soup will warm you to the bone. A must after you make a ham.

After half a bottle of wine, you'd be drunk too! Time does not include marinating overnight.

Just something I threw together one day when we were going to be gone all day and I didn't want to do the same old (but yummy) crock pot roast. The "drippings" from this dish make a very flavorful gravy to serve with the roast and mashed potatoes. I think this would be good with a few sliced carrots and celery tossed in also. **This can also be used with moose and other wild game** This is a nice way to cook wild game that tends to be a bit dry. You can add water if it is too salty for your tastes.

    Recipe #265284

Comfort soup at its finest! I usually make this to use up leftover ham. This is easy to adapt with other ingredients. I don't put celery in mine. I have added garlic sometimes as well.

    Recipe #262140

Instead of serving banana pudding with vanilla wafers just skip the bananas and serve this martini for dessert.
