This one is for the kids or the young at heart. It's not really meant to be eaten. More like something fun for Halloween or just to hear the kids yell "Ewww, GROSS!" You could use it for your Halloween haunted house etc. Just blindfold someone and let them feel this. (Makes good "eyeballs") Posted as a request.
This is a cough syrup you can make and take all you want. My mother made this for me as a child and I did the same for my two kids and grandchildren. It tastes good and is all natural. It does help the tickle. The vinegar cuts the molasses and the butter makes it smooth.
This will help take care of those fruit flies that gather around the stuff you have to take out to the compost pile or those bananas you haven't gotten around to baking with yet. The photo I posted (the one with the cherry & grape tomatoes) shows several fruit flies on the paper already (and a couple are in the vinegar, though you can't see them)--not even three minutes after making the trap! Some kinds of cider vinegar work better than others--typically, I find the darker the vinegar, the better it works.
I know some people have said they prefer to use plastic wrap over the top, but I find that the paper cone (though it takes some fiddling to get it to fit just right) works best.
This recipe is from my children's preschool art teacher. This truly is the best ever playdough recipe. It will last for several months in an airtight container. No refrigeration is needed. In addition to the food coloring you can add extracts or spices to give it different smells, though these can change how much flour you need to add.
I couldn't believe how dirty my watch and silver jewelry were when I tried this. Yuck! This saves money and is safe for you and the environment. The solution can be very drying to your hands so consider using rubber gloves or even tweezers to handle the jewelry. This recipe is from wire-sculpture.com.
Environmentally friendly, no harsh chemicals!
We tried the expensive cleaners and found our floors still looked streaky and dull. This homemade cleaner makes them look bright, streak free and beautiful!
I have not personally had to try this YET, but understand this works better than tomato juice for neutralizing the skunk solution. Use this first, as it won't work if you have already bathed the dog with something else.
