A light and simple dessert, especially when we've had one of those heavy festive dinners. The amount of rose water can be adjusted as per taste. Preparation time does not include time taken for marination.

    Recipe #269585

Very light and refreshing strawberries. They can be served over yogart, panna cotta or eaten alone. I love this for a guilt free desert.

I don't remember where I got this recipe from,, but it is so refreshing. These go quickly especially on a nice day.

    Recipe #87804

This is really great. I admit I don't have a wonderful bottle of balsamic and they still were very tasty.

This recipe is for a super salad. The fresh puree in the dressing makes it divine. The balance of sweet strawberries and somewhat tart blue cheese makes every morsel flavorful. Fun to serve anytime. It was quickly eaten in our home. It comes from the Wisconsin Milk Board. Great for any day. If you don't like baby greens sub in romaine. or butter lettuce. Enjoy! ChefDLH

    Recipe #344880

Pancakes with Blood Orange Honey Sauce Garnished with Strawberries. Could be served for breakfast or desert. Makes up to 12 pancakes which are 1/4 cups in size each or 4 very large pancakes. Created for RSC #11.

    Recipe #283054

This is a yearly tradition in my home since I found this recipe in TOH in 1994. My family and friends look forward to it every year. I make it only on the 4 of July or Memorial day, just because I love the idea of the tradition, but would be a great desert any time. I hope you like it as much as we have.

    Recipe #166696

Spruce up ordinary lemonade by adding purees strawberries and crushed ice. Very refreshing and thirst quenching in the summer.

    Recipe #375297

I found this in our local newspaper. I have not tried it but it sounds good on a hot summer day.

    Recipe #383519

My daughter (11) made this one night when I had nothing in the house for dessert. She wanted something sweet, so she threw this together and got me hooked!!

Did you need a choice? Turn this into a smoothie at serving time by running it in the blender again OR scrape up spoonfuls into pretty serving dishes and drizzle with more WINE or gingerale. Either way--this is sure to capture your Valentine's heart! Just watch out for those brain-freeze headaches!!! COOKING TIME = CHILLING TIME.

This recipe was developed for the 11th RSC Contest. In the process of coming up with something totally different I ended up with this. I think the honey and brandy really accentuate the sweet strawberries and then mixed with the wine, mmmmm. I used a sweeter Chardonnay but any white wine would work. The strawberry mixture should be made up ahead of time so that it can cool. Cooking time does NOT include cooling time. I enjoy mine with a few ice cubes. This would be perfect for brunch or Valentine's Day.

    Deliciously sweet and refreshing

    Recipe #1460

For a Romantic touch, bake these in heart shaped muffin tins.

    Recipe #283073

A recipe from the Dec/Jan 2k1 issue of Taste of Home. So easy and great fun for the whole family! To remove the marshmallow creme from the jar I use a rubber spatula & the fluff just sticks to it. Otherwise microwaving it for a few seconds at a time might make it release easier.

    Recipe #22612

A culmination of several recipes over the years, this is another delicious breakfast that is made the night before; sparing the chef from getting up early or messing up the kitchen first thing. Serving size is listed as 6-8, but I serve with bacon or sausage & possibly scrambled eggs so we usually get 10 servings out of it. Can also be halved & made in a 9x9 brownie pan to serve a family of 3-4.

    Recipe #292982

Using my new (to me) VitaMix blender, I've been experimenting with smoothie options. I don't like milk, yogurt, or even much ice cream so the usual recipes don't appeal to me. However, at Jamba Juice I always sub pineapple sherbert in my drinks. To date, this is my favorite homemade smoothie & it's the closest to my favorite Jamba flavor. I'm posting it now so I don't forget what combination I used this time. :) It's a tropical, not too sweet, drink with all frozen fruit & juice.

This recipe appeared in the February 1988 issue of Woman's Day magazine and was reprinted in our local paper today. According to the article, "Diana had a special fondness for this cake because it was served at her childhood birthday parties." The baked layers can be wrapped and refrigerated up to three days or frozen up to three months. Unwrap and bring to room temperature before assembling. Completed cake can be refrigerated up to four hours before serving.

Simple but so good! My good friend Angel gave me this recipe. It makes an attractive dessert when mixture is served on top of strawberries in large individual glass stems.
