Here's a nice little vinaigrette that I found on the eating well website amongst their diabetic recipes. They say you should do this one in the blender so it will be creamy. I did and it was perfect. Make this one several hours ahead or the day before so the flavors can blend.
This is amazingly good! It's perfect for a special occasion (like Valentine's Day) or when you just have to have something sweet and yummy in a hurry. There's no baking or complicated stuff so you can literally put this on the table within a few minutes. I top mine with strawberry topping but you can use any flavor you like. It can be made with sugar, splenda or even stevia. You can used regular or reduced fat cream cheese. I use reduced and splenda. It will actually serve up to 4 adults if you really want to share it.
I use this tastey spread for pasta, homemade rolls, corn on the cob, roasted zucchini and other veggies. It adds a nice subtle flavor. Try my recipe recipe #367149 for the pesto you need in this one. Store bought is so expensive and not nearly as good.
I love this dressing! It's so creamy and delicious! If you are out of buttermilk, you can substitute 1/4 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup milk. I have done that many times with very good results. This one tastes great either way. Make it the day before you plan to use it if you can. That way the flavors will have time to blend.
I love making my own salad dressings and I'm always looking for new ones. This delicious dressing recipe came from www.horseradish.org It's perfect on a green salad served along side of a nice, juicy steak!
What a great dressing this one is. It's very thick and almost like a dip. To thin it down, I add a little bit of milk until I get it to the consistency I like. You can do the same thing and make it just the way you like it- thick or thin- you choose.
This is very quick and easy to make with things you already have in your kitchen. One taste of this and you'll never buy another bottle of that expensive, chemical-filled dressing from the store again!
This is a delicious, tangy salad dressing that can also be used as a dip by leaving out the milk. It's lower in fat, carbs, calories and sodium than most store bought dressings and the taste will blow that stuff away! You can make it even healthier by using reduced fat mayo and sour cream.
These shrimp are really zippy! They're pretty quick and easy, too. You can control the heat by reducing the chili sauce. When I make this for my little girl, I eliminate all but 1 tablespoon of the chili sauce and it's still great! She loves this dish and I'll bet you will, too! It serves 6 as an appetizer but only 2-3 as a main dish.
