I made this today at the recommendation of smn at CT. Really lovely. Slightly adapted by adding an extra egg and some flour to the batter to thicken it up a a bit.

    Recipe #190759

I feel sad for anyone who has never been to a Cheesecake Factory restaurant. This cheesecake is out of this world! I think you will find the nut crust quite unusual. Sometimes I double the crust portion of the recipe just so I can have a thicker crust.

My mother loves turtle cheesecake, so I adapted this recipe, so that it was extra chocolatey.

An elderly client of my husband used to travel to Toronto at least once a year and he always brought my daughters a bag of chocolate turtles as a present. After he passed away I adopted this recipe to remember him by. My girls call this Marvin's Cheesecake.

This cheesecake is impressive to look at and to eat. The steps are easy but it takes some time to prepare. However, it freezes beautifully for up to a month, so it can be prepared far in advance of your event. I have made this cheesecake many times as a birthday cake. Use a high quality chocolate in this recipe, not chocolate chips or baking chocolate. Try Valrhona, Callabeut or Lindt, which you can get at many grocery stores. Lindt bars come in 3 oz. bars. Also, this cake must bake at the temperature directed or it will be raw in the middle and overdone on the edges.

When I orignally posted this back in Jan 2002, I said I had not tried this recipe because it looked like a lot of work. Flash forward to Easter 2007..I finally broke down and made this, and I was right, it is indeed, a lot of work. But it is so worth it. This tastes just like the Junior's cheesecake I ordered off of QVC. I made it again last night for a co-workers birthday and brought it in...everyone was swooning and begging for the recipe! Next time I make this I will make the sponge cake layer a day ahead and just cover it tightly with tin foil and leave it out overnight. You do want to make this a day ahead before you plan to serve it as it's best chilled for at least 8 hours. Enjoy!!!

From www.TopSecretRecipes.com People will beg you to make this again and again! I found this one in a copy cat recipe book. I decided to try it because Cheesecake Factory makes awesome cheesecakes... and this turned out sooo yummy! Great in the summer time.... or any time. Rich and creamy!

Yum! Perfect for holiday baking or anytime! This is a pretty easy recipe considering it looks and tastes like you spent hours on it. This came in my first recipe box when I was teenager.

This looks so pretty and tastes delicious!!! I can imagine it at a bridal luncheon or even as an untraditional wedding cake. Great for Canada Day with the Red/White of if you want to make a Red-White-and Blue cake for the 4th of July, make it one pint raspberries (or strawberries) and 1 pint blueberries. But make it over the summer, when fresh berries are readily available, for sure.

This is from Godiva and it is so rich and delicious, that you can only make this once a year! I didn't include cooling and chilling times. Don't let the instructions long list bother you - they are very simple and well written, if I say so myself.

    Recipe #159035

I usually am requested to make this for Superbowl gatherings. It is really good and very different from a standard cheesecake. Can't remember where I got this recipe from.

    Recipe #42901

I love THIS cheesecake! I love cheesecake period!! This is especially good with the fresh fruit and jam...Everyone thinks I bought it at the bakery, it's so beautiful...good too! The credit is not mine; it came to me via a recipe card...hence the picture.

    Recipe #23883

This is from the Company's Coming "Chocolate Everything" Cookbook. It is the creamiest, melt in your mouth delicious dessert you have ever tasted! Time does not include chill time.

" A finalist in the 2001 Nestle Toll House Share the Very Best recipe contest, this dessert was submitted by Audra Burtch of Chandler, Arizona. This family favorite is a marbled cheesecake topped with a decadent combination of pecans, chocolate morsels and caramel and chocolate syrups. "
