My grandmother used to make this at Thanksgiving and Christmas to fill out the usual sweet potato casserole and dressing menu. This was always one of my favorites. It is very easy and very tasty! It is a good way to get your kids (and reluctant DH's) to eat their vegetables!

    Recipe #262821

These are the best ginger cookies I've had in along time. The balance of spices is perfect. From BH&G's. I used just a dash of pepper. The time doesn't include freezing time.

At every celebration there was always a round loaf or two of this bread. My Finnish "Aunt Bertha" and then Aili always provided this sustaining wonder. It is very filling and makes wonderful toast!

I purchased some Bols Blue, a liquor with citrus in it made in Holland. Using this in baked goods is done so everyone can eat. I folded half of the white chocolate pudding in the batter and of course it is blue. This liquor is also good with Sprite soft drink. I wanted something special for our anniversary. It is a rich dessert. I just made this cake again but refrigerated it overnight and it makes a big difference in the flavor, moist & flavor seems to be more intense.

This is an updated version of my old recipe using ziplock bag and precooked bacon bits or pieces. The tenderness of the meat is because milk is used. This can be used with beef or buffalo also.

My recipe using a tasty white sauce with pimentos. If you can't eat red meat this may be of help to you. Chicken can be substituted for tuna. You can use Recipe #174536. I have simplified the preparation. Blender, pot and 9x13-inch pan,

    Recipe #168425

I have had this recipe for years.I have changed the type of apples and made one crust and topped with cool whip instead of whipped cream. Arrange the apples in a circle, it shows through the glaze and place the cool whip in the center.

Oven or crock pot recipe. Layer all the ingredients and let the heat do the work. Needs no other seasoning except pepper to taste at the table. The apple juice offsets the saltiness of the sauerkraut and cooks into the potatoes.

Living in the Far East you become acquainted with ingredients not usual to the United States. Coconut milk is a staple in many countries. Fresh coconut is soft, not dry, and refreshing to eat, but coconut flakes will have to do the job unless you have a fresh coconut.

These glazes dress up and give some extra taste to baked, grilled or broiled chicken or fish.Use 1/4 Cup jelly. (it shows as 0 on the submission. They are simple & interchangeable. You make them the same way. Remember to use 2 spices with the jelly. Sugar free jelly is fine to use also. Use sugar free jelly if desired. Sometimes I will take a spice from one glaze and a jelly from another.

We traveled with a cooler plugged into the lighter oulet in the semi. Juices, fruit, milk berries held. Recipes originated in Door County when I picked up the sweetest, biggest rasberries this side of heaven. Enjoy!Recipe is for one big serving,We hauled part of a log home from Montana to the shore of Lake Michigan. The ridge pole was so long it stuck out over the truck hood and to the end of a 52' trailer. Not fun when you have rough roads the huge pole is bouncing on top, Enjoy! P.S. The bozo who owned the property opened our truck cab and jumped in and took a picture of the cab and sleeper without permission! How rude! I had unmentionables hanging to dry in the back! He said, I just wanted to see how truckers lived and to record this day. He wouldn't let us wash our hands, just for family use, we had to walk down to the lake!

    Recipe #187189

Any one of these flavors can be used for this dessert when you have very limited time.

Beef meat balls with crushed strawberry flavored mini wheats and cooked in a cranberry sauce. Serve as an appetizer or with a salad. I had some crushed cereal in the bottom of the sack and developed the recipe.
