This Waldorf-esque cold salad is a wonderful blend of sweet and savory flavors, great for brunch or a noon-time meal. I served this on a bed of romaine lettuce with a side of toasted homemade oatmeal bread. If you'd like, you can toast the pecans first. You may wish to add the nuts just before serving to prevent them from getting soggy. Fresh herbs would make a nice addition (perhaps 1 T of parsley, cilantro, or basil), and you can change the ratio of sweet to savory by manipulating the amount of maple syrup, mustard, and horseradish you add. I hope you enjoy it!

This is a great way to disguise leftovers! Adapted from RazzleDazzle Recipes. Enjoy!

    Recipe #146003

From my recipe collection to be tried. A good recipe for turkey leftovers.

    Recipe #237361

This was one of my son's favorite dishes when he was growing up.

    Recipe #160295

My mom first made this and for once in my life I haven't changed a thing. I do sometimes add extra bouillon if there does not seem to be enough flavour. That is generally not the case however. The two packages, or two cubes should be enough. I like to serve this with garlic bread.

I've heard this is a "midwestern" thing. It's very tasty, handy for using up leftovers or feeding a crowd. Real comfort food.

I like to make this with holiday leftovers which makes it a snap to make. It's good on both raisin bread and croissants.

    Recipe #191117

This is a very simple recipe, and tastes delicious. I just whipped it up with ingredients on hand, and wanted to record it to refer to next time. It's great for the South Beach diet, too. I used left over turkey breast (my standby - Herbed Turkey Breast by Kate in Ontario #22235). Note to World Tour participants - California is a large producer of walnuts. This recipe represent that state.

This is a great soup for left over thanksgiving turkey! Very easy to make, and keeps wonderfully! This is my own recipe, hope you like it!

    Recipe #199758

This is more of a concept than an actual measured out recipe. It is how I like to use up Thanksgiving dinner leftovers. I can only have so many turkey sandwiches before I hurl.

    Recipe #190733

This is an absolutely, incredibly delicious recipe for all of those Thanksgiving leftovers! Our family really loves this one. We hope you enjoy it as well! Original source: Gourmet Magazine, 1990. Note: In the original recipe, it did not tell you, in error, where to put the "first" 1/4 cup of chopped turkey... you may want to put the initial 1/4 cup first in the bottom of the onion... experiment! I wasn't quite sure how to categorize this one... it can be a main dish, a lunch, a side dish also I suppose... There is some work involved in making this one, but it is well worth it!

the brown Hotel is where the famous Hot Brown originated a slight twist for a great pot luck dinner.

    Recipe #111014

We always have a lot of turkey left-over from Thanksgiving. This salad is a good way to use some of it up. Chill time is 2 hours.

    Recipe #77358

Make this cocktail with all the leftover cranberry jelly from Thanksgiving!

    Recipe #73718

Mushrooms and sage add an earthy note to the stock.

    Recipe #148813

A delicious, filling casserole that takes only a few minutes to put together. Almost as tasty as Thanksgiving dinner, with a lot less trouble!

Rich savory gravy. You can omit the mushroom and onions. The giblet stock can be replaced with chicken stock. Check out my (Giblet Stock from turkey or chicken for soup or gravy recipe #77787)

    Recipe #77784

I started making this with the gravy-sliced bread in the middle after Monica on Friends described a sandwich like that. Add slices of tomato or add cranberry sauce, if you like (I prefer mine without).

    Recipe #103934

This is a snap to make with packaged spinach and store-bought dressing, and a great way to use up any leftover turkey or chicken. Can use about 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon in place of dried, I have made this using both my recipes for Caesar salad dressing also.

Don't throw away the turkey bones after you've demolished your bird! Save them to make a fantastic turkey stock, which you can then use to flavor all sorts of soups and gravies. After you strain the stock you can freeze it in small Tupperware tubs, or even in ice cube trays, very handy to have in the kitchen!
