These are a big hit at parties, and if anyone knows ... that would be Ila!! You can also stuff these with an almond.

Simple to make, difficult to share, and even harder to put down. Excellent on baked ham. Being out on the prairie with a wagon full of canned goods, Johnny whips this up in no time. Look for more Johnny Jalapeno recipes here on Recipezaar!

I made two of these gorgeous rolled stuffing logs, one for Thanksgiving and froze the second to serve with my Christmas meal. The entire recipe makes 2 stuffing logs and there will also be a third portion left to stuff a turkey with, or to bake in a casserole. If you only want to make 1 roll, simply divide most of the ingredients by 3, except for the apple, egg, and bacon - use 1 small egg, 1 small apple, and 12 pieces of bacon, cooking time will remain the same. A bit tricky to roll up, but the final product is worth all your hard work. You can substitute fresh red currants for the cranberries or use dried cranberries or dried cherries if you prefer. Also, if you only have dried herbs, that is fine.. just add dreid versions to taste, perhaps a few spoonfuls of each. This gets sliced and looks so lovely with the center of berries. Adapted from a version I found in Good Food magazine.

Scalding the turkey makes for a very nice moist turkey. I have been doing this method for over 25 years. Cooking time shown in the method is for a 16 pound stuffed turkey.

This is a delicious butternut squash recipe from Ina Garten / The Barefoot Contessa. We really enjoy this during the holidays. It is best when the squash is cut in medium to large chunks so that the outside gets a maple-flavored crust, and the inside stays soft and delicious.

This is a excellent gift for coffee lovers for any occasion or just to use when making your own coffee and don't have any liquid creamers handy.

    Recipe #144256

This recipe is from Women's Day Magazine 11/1999. It's a life saver for me, it takes some of the stress from Thanksgiving Day.

A whole turkey roasted upright on a stake under a metal trash can. The moistest, tastiest turkey I've ever eaten. This is a Boy Scout Recipe. It's just great!

Easy way to make a delicious treat! Use your favorite nuts: pecans, walnuts, cashews--whatever!

    Recipe #266782

Thiss recipe comes from the 1973 edition of the Good Housekeeping Cookbook. It is one of my favorite recipes to make. The recipe says it makes 2 loaves, but I have used it to make mini loaves and give a gifts. Oh try adding raisins, nuts, or chocolate chips.

    Recipe #221238

From Southern Living. A short-cut recipe that certainly is not as good as my mom’s homemade dressing/stuffing. But it’s pretty darn good when I have a craving for stuffing and do not have the time or energy to make it from scratch.

    Recipe #190628

A no-fuss sweet and spicy treat. If you like, top it with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream. Number of servings depends on how you slice it. UPDATE: Oops, left out the ginger; it's now been added.

Found this in the Kraft Food & Family and I thought this would be great for the holidays! I love the idea of the layers being visible through a clear casserole dish if possible.

    Recipe #100604

This was given to my by one of good friends and I have used it every holiday since. Hope you like it.

This is the frosting I like to use for my soft sugar cookies, "Recipe#286412". It uses heavy whipping cream and I like to add green or red food coloring to it when I make the cookies for Christmas. It should make enough to frost about 4-5 dozen cookies, depending on how thick of layer you use on each cookie and how big the cookies are. Update: 12/21/2009: I have changed the recipe to increase the amount of whipping cream. I agree with the other reviewer that more is needed but be sure to add the whipping cream gradually and then add the rest if needed.

A wonderful choice for your holiday meal! You will never make just a plain old pumpkin pie again! The cheesecake can be made the day before and actually tastes better if made ahead.

I saw this recipe in a magazine at my doctor's office this afternoon and then when I was doing some shopping I saw them again advertised as hot chocolate for 2 using the optional ingredients listed. I thought they were very cute to give as gifts to co-workers, teachers, or to include in a gift basket with a special mug. You will need 2 (6 x 12) clear cone bags and 2 clear rubber bands to make the cones. I couldn't list with the ingredients list.

Ginger cookies with a sweet-tart lemon glaze. What could be tastier? My mother-in-law originally found this recipe in the Chicago Tribune. I'm glad she did. (These require chilling time so plan ahead).

    Recipe #128229

Would make a great morning meal. Sausage, potatoes and cheese...
