These are my hubby's favorite Christmas cookies. His Great Aunt Gin used to make them for him every year and it just isn't Christmas without them. She always made green Christmas Trees and pink Wreaths because those were her two favorite colors. Since they use all shortening they are a very crisp cookie. The recipe is originally from the cookbook that came with the Mirro cookie press. (If you prefer a butter cookie, I recommend Recipe #98883)

Want to make up some limoncello but don't want to have to wait the month+ that most recipes call for? This is the recipe for you.

    Recipe #392218

Okay, I can't wait and like it strong, smooth, and sweet. LOL I looked at tons of recipes and this is what I came up with and I love it! So did some limoncello perfectionists I actually was brave enough to let try my concoction! I was so proud I had to share. It is a sweet liqueur you can sip on or add to anything. We prefer chilled and sipped with friends or family.

    Recipe #273895

    From Chief Honeybee's blog.

    Recipe #471540

This is a spin on The Melting Pot Campfire S’mores Martini. Read towards the bottom for the garnishment.

    Recipe #473013

This is a recipe for Cuban Sangria that I first had at a pool party in the Little Havana area of Miami. It was made by the host in a large cooler and dipped out during a BBQ and party. It was the best Sangria I have ever had and my wife and I have made it several times since to serve with rave reviews. BEWARE! It is a strong drink and in the summer sun it will creep up on you as it goes down so refreshing.

    Recipe #106511

In my never-ending quest to figure out what to do with that bottle of burgundy wine I opened. (I only used 1/2 cup of it in a previous recipe) I found this recipe for Sangrias. Now what do I do with the rest of the orange liqueur? I see another mission in my future.

We love this Sangria and I hope you enjoy it, too! I found this recipe in the September, 2001 issue of Bon Appetit. It comes from the Malaga Tapas & Bar in Austin, TX.Prep time includes standing time.

My husband and I just love the chilled, honey vodka that the restaurant Firebird, in NYC, serves. One night while having a drink at Michael Jordan's in Grand Central Station we were talking about it and our bartender said he used to work there and knew the recipe. He wrote this recipe onto a cocktail napkin for us. Since then, 4-5 years ago, we make this every Christmas. I don't think it is exactly the same as Firebird's but it is still really good! Store it in the freezer and serve chilled.

    Recipe #222615

This refreshing drink was invented by Tony Abou-Ganim, Master Mixologist, at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The colors remind me of sunset, and the taste is out of this world!

    Recipe #289310

Limoncello, Sicily's signature liqueur, is easy to make at home. Perfect for those hot summer days... a cool explosion of the senses. This is the best Limoncello recipe I have come across, I think the secret that makes this one stand apart is the addition of the zest from one lime. Please use organic lemons and limes for this recipe. If they are not organic soak them in water for 1/2 an hour or so before zesting. Also it has been pointed out that it is best to use under-ripe fruit. Once made... there are so many uses; spiking lemonade, flavoring cocktails and splashing onto ice cream, poundcake or fresh fruit. You can substitute the peel of 15 limes for the lemon peel. Total time: 30 minutes, plus at least 4 weeks infusing time

    Recipe #167289

This a very easy, but delicious Sangria recipe. I gets it's sweetness from the fruit juices instead of adding sugar.

A friend gave me this recipe. It is supposed to be better than what you can buy in a store, and much cheaper too.
