This came from a magazine that featured Emeril Lagasse about five or so years ago.

    Recipe #158697

A very simple but delicious dessert. Perfect for the winter season when the new batch of maple syrup hits the market.

    Recipe #17291

My favorite fall dessert! This comes from Jeanne Lemlin's "Quick Vegetarian Pleasures." Keep a bag of fresh cranberries in the freezer and you can make this all year long.

This recipe makes a delicious and flavorful roast. I use about 1/2 cup of maple syrup to baste the roast and add some brown sugar to the sweet potatoes when I mash them. I left the original recipe unchanged here to post for you. I love sweet potatoes with pork! I hope you enjoy this one!

The perfect accompaniment to Applebee's Walnut Blondies. It would also be fabulous over vanilla ice cream. Posted from an online copycat source in response to a recipe request.

Almost ridiculously easy to make, this soup is based on a recipe from "S.O.U.P.S. - Seattle's Own Undeniably Perfect Soups" by Michael Congdon and is my absolute favorite soup. Although it is titled as "southwestern," this soup tastes very much like my favorite Indian dish of Chicken Korma, a mild, flavorful, non-spicy curry. I also use the soup as a baking sauce for chicken breasts, thighs, and cubed tofu - very tasty!

From toast to basting grilled pork or chicken, boggles the mind!

    Recipe #109476

I threw this together for Easter dinner to go with our maple apple pork loin. They raved! It is very good.

    Recipe #114712

A recipe given to me by a coworker who said of all the people she works with, I'd appreciate this recipe the most. This makes a large serving and is a refreshing, elegant salad. Sometimes I'm too lazy to slice up pears so I'll throw in a handful of raisins instead (or diced apples, dried cranberries or dried cherries, etc. ...) The salad dressing is best prepared several hours in advance. A symphony of flavors!

Great maple flavor. Takes a little effort, but definitely worth it. Make sure to use real maple syrup in the glaze. This makes a nice light cake, almost like a chiffon.

    Recipe #119473

This versatile Southwestern –Style Sauce, with its zesty blend of black peppercorns and Creole mustard is a perfect match for beef tenderloin. Serve with Tarragon Green Beans and Jalapeno Jack Polenta for a perfect meal.

This just might be the best French toast you will ever have! This tastes like a giant sticky cinnamon bun. I used Texas toast in place of egg bread for this and it worked well. You can use half and half in place of whipping cream. This recipe serves 2 people double or triple the recipe to serve more. Although I have not tried it as yet, if you plan on doubling the recipe, I would guess you could use half maple syrup and half pancake syrup due to cost factor. When I doubled the recipe, I used 2 cups of maple syrup, 1 cup whipping cream and 1 cup half and half.

    Recipe #141697

From Lowfat Living cookbook. Wonderful spread on whole grain bread. Try this on slices of Granny Smith apples! Ideal for car trips, brunches or picnics!

These are like traditional peanut butter cookies, but unique in that they are flavored with maple! This was Judith Korbey's of Methuen, Massachusetts contribution to the 1958 Pillsbury Bake-Off. I got the recipe from the 50th Anniversay Best of the Bake-Off Cookbook.

These little guys will be the talk of the party! Be sure to have extra beer on hand when you serve them. They are super easy, and can be modified to your liking, but they will be remembered by all who come to the party, to be sure.
