This came from an Amish cookbook I've had since 1990. Their breads are fabulous and their cinnamon rolls are out of this world.

Another midwesterner here whose family loves these little gems. This recipe came from a 'best loosemeat recipe' contest in Iowa and this is the winner. My favorite as well ! The chicken broth gives it a very nice flavor.
Flavored butters are the best ! My family has this on hand around the holidays, but it can be made anytime. Great on yeasty rolls or crackers. We make it with the jellied cranberry for a smoother consistency.
