I like this one just because it's so easy. A few minutes on the skillet, and dinner is served!

    Recipe #219907

You can use turkey, chicken, salmon, shrimp...whatever you like...for the main ingeredient in these croquettes - I used chicken. GREAT every time! Makes 4 patties, 2 servings.

    Recipe #111575

The Chicken Breast is seared whole to preserve the moisture in the meat, but sliced before presentation to take full advantage of the sauce. I would match this dish with a fresh vegetable and pasta or rice.

    Recipe #107220

This could be thought of as a "one-pot breakfast".

    Recipe #39642

I bought the book "Small-Batch Baking" and this was a recipe I tried this morning and loved!! It made 2 normal size biscuits and one about 1/2 the size. The author, Debby Maugans Nakos, states that this is similar to "Hardee's" biscuits. Mine turned out golden on the outside and tender in the inside and so quick and easy.

Makes just a few. Whether dropped or rolled.

    Recipe #225584

From Copykat.com (http://www.copykat.com) This is traditionally served as a sandwich but may be served as is!

Another recipe posting for safe keeping that I found in TOH magazine. This is a very economical and filling dish. Can also make it lighter by subbing light cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese.

After New Years, I had leftover ham and wanted to use it up. I love Herbs de provence, potatoes, ham and peas and decided to make a quick and easy casserole, based on scalloped potatoes. This is a very versatile recipe, layered like scalloped potatoes it works beautifully. In a hurry, make it the casserole way, just throw all the ingredients except for the garnish in a large bowl and mix well. Next pour the mixture into a prepared dish, garnish and place in the oven as is. (If you are making it this way you may want to coarsly chop the onions and ham) It is a very tasty dish prepared either way.

I have never tasted softer, crustier, perfect bread. He says it's the whipping cream that does it! Ted said that he often makes the dough places the four balls in the 2lb bread tin, butters the top, covers it with a cloth then places it in the fridge over night allowing 1 hour at room temperature to allow the final raising before baking. This recipe also makes wonderful buns just size them accordingly.

Simple but tasty. Can be assembled ahead earlier in day. I would like to thank Chef#231057 for writing the first review of this recipe but you have your zmail locked in your settings. Hope you see this. :) My inspiration for this came from Recipe#347673 so if you like packet cooking I suggest you try it as it is excellent! Recently made this with pre sliced SWISS cheese instead of cheddar and delicious also. Sometimes I add drained corn to this.

One of several recipes given to me by a dietician for my diabetes.

    Recipe #200582

Simple, quick and tasty. Something I threw together with the 'scraps' in my Fridge and surprised me with how great it tasted. Feel free to remove as much 'fat' from the pan as you need to... the more you leave, the better it tastes! Great with mashed potatoes!

I think I saw this in Cooking Light - the library's copier was broken, so I scribbled down the ingredients and directions on a slip of paper. I don't usually have celery, so used green beans and added a teaspoonful or so of dry celery leaves for flavor. I've also made it with leftover chicken, added mushrooms, used fresh herbs or different herbs, and made other changes on the fly. I love that it makes a small quantity for those of us with small households. Update: I recently served this over hot cooked noodles, and that was another nice way to have this dish.

I like Deviled Eggs and I like Pimento Cheese, and thought " Why not combine the two ? "This recipe only makes enough for 2, so if you need more, adjust everything accordingly. Now with the amounts of the ingredients they are just " guesstimates ". So if you want to add more salt, pepper, sugar, and paprika that's strictly up to you." Cook time " is chill time.Submitted to Food.com ( a.k.a. " ZAAR " )on April 24th.2012
