The generous amount of Peanut Butter makes these bars taste rich and creamy, the banana keeps it *ultra* moist and takes on a mellow background flavor, and the oatmeal holds it all together PLUS some chocolate thrown in for good measure :) These are better the next day, don't contain eggs or flour, and are a good way to use up some ripe bananas!

    Recipe #362093

Finally! A single-serving cookie without weird ingredient measurements. Quick, easy, and satisfying:)

    Recipe #356866

Wonderful warm mouthfuls of boozy chocolate goodness.

    Recipe #195709

These taste pretty close to Reese's, and are delicious! Kid approved :)

    Recipe #200600

Strawberry heaven! We love this refreshing pie in the warm months.

    Recipe #411267

This is not your ordinary pie recipe. Picture a refreshing rhubarb compote sitting on a wonderfully crisp crust. Perfect for all those warm summer days. Serve with vanilla ice-cream or custard for extra decadence. ;) Chill time of 1 hour is not included in prep time.

    Recipe #363745

This is my mother-in-law's recipe. She was always baking and this is one of my favorite recipes she had.

    Recipe #205890

This is a recipe that came with my Nordic Ware Nonstick Bouquet Mini Cake Pans. These are really cute pans in flower shapes. The pans are also very dark. If you were to make this in lighter coloured pans you would probably want to increase the oven temperature to 350, although I haven't tried to do so.

An unusual name but cannot be changing a name of a recipe that has withstood the test of time! This cake was one made by pioneers and carried across the country in covered wagons. The recipe is well over a hundred years old. Years back I was gifted with a pan containing this delightful loaf along with the recipe which had been printed in the 'Fort Times.(Anne's Kitchen) We so enjoyed that we now make it every Christmas. It is a hit on the holiday tray ... guests enjoy the cake as well as the pioneer story that goes with it.NOTE January 2010- love to go through my community cookbooks, today reading through Anne Davie's 'Fifty- Five Years in Anne's Kitchen' much to my surprise find this recipe is far older than I had thought - over 200 years old! Be it in her lovely century old farm house or in her town home, Anne is a most gracious lady who shares her recipes, serves up awesome goodies at coffee time, as well as sharing her lovely gardens. A great loaf to serve any time of the year - at our house it has become one of our Christmas traditions in the making - thank you Anne!

Goes well with vanilla or chocolate buttercream icing.

    Recipe #134870

A delicious way to end the day.

    Recipe #289830

When I first fixed dinner for my father in law, he put this in his mouth and just sit there, I had no idea, I thought he wanted to spit it out, but once he swallowed it, he said he loved it and just wanted to hold it in his mouth. This was his very favorite, and everyone loves this. The cream cheese layer is sometimes hard to spread, I use the back of a large spoon and run cold water over it. Prep time includes 4 hours in the fridge before serving.

These are so light and delicious, they give a new spin to traditional pumpkin pie! These are great to bring to potlucks and parties. They are a real eye catcher with a dollop of whipped cream on top. The batter can also be poured into a 9 inch pie shell rather than the tart shells.

    Recipe #117531

Absolutely delicious!!! Its from Patrick Bouilly of the Quebec Tourism & Hotel Institute and published in a new Canadian magazine called "Chocolate".

    Recipe #208763

We got this recipe years ago from one of Gretchen's many boyfriends The boyfriend is long gone but the recipe remains. I think we got the better part of the deal. This is a cakey kind of cookie - nice and fluffy.

This recipe has been in my family for years, and in my opinion is the best Italian Cream Cake! It's very moist and always gets lots of compliments!

Nanaimo Bars are a British Columbian classic, and this recipe is by Anna Olson as featured on her Sugar-program on Food Network Canada.

    Recipe #139625

This is definitely the kind of dessert that makes people ask, "Is it really vegan?". The combo of pumpkin and chocolate is very flavorful and interesting. I've used this before to make little tarts, but it's really good on its own.

    Recipe #212518

These taste almost identical to ones you can get at a restaurant. Kids really enjoy these too! SIMPLE!!

    Recipe #176482

Makes a big, tender cookie for those who don't like crispy sugar cookies. Great for any holiday. My mom would kill me if she knew I was posting this recipe-it's a family don't tell!
