Another recipe I first tasted at a Pampered Chef demonstration. This is a fun one to serve to children. Please don't try to make this without the parchment as the the batter will end up oozing everywhere without it. You can make the crust early in the day, then top it just before serving.
I got this recipe from a family member who brought it to every gathering...with good reason...it's so good! I made it once and took it to work. It was gone within 2 hours. I had to start making it a double batch just so everyone could have some. It is so easy, and so quick. It's a great last minute dish to take.
If you love butterscotch you will love these easy to make bars. They are the perfect mix of salty and sweet. Can also be made using peanut butter chips instead of butterscotch, but the men in my family are butterscotch crazy. Hope you enjoy!
Ooh, I remember this being really good! Chocolate and cherries are the best combination. This was "the" pie for my family one year in the early 80's. No event was without one of these pies. Then we sort of lost track of the recipe, and when I recently unearthed it I just had to post it. The times listed don't include cooling and chilling.
A wonderfully tangy peach cobbler that I found in a supplement to the Sunday newspaper years ago. I don't think I've ever served it to anyone who hasn't liked it. The filling is also great for a pie. For a really decadent dessert, serve this with a scoop of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream! YUM!! The preparation time is approximate since I've never timed it. The cook time includes chill time for the dough.
Came up with this easy recipe when I had leftover wonton wrappers. These are soooo good, and just whip up in minutes. My kids went nuts for them! You could easily change the filling to your favorite! Great served a la mode (with ice cream!).
These are a favorite everytime I take them somewhere.....they are always the first to disappear. I usually cut them into squares and put them in individual cupcake papers to make serving easier. They are easy to make, too.
Prep/cook time does NOT include 4 hours for chilling.
