Just watch your guests faces when you serve them an avocado for dessert. You can double, triple the recipe. They can remain in your freezer for up to a month. Easy fun dessert.

I have not tried this yet but I am looking forward to it.

    Recipe #115348

I came up with this morning when I discovered I had two ripe bananas left on the counter. These are very tasty and with the warm weather coming this is a very satisfying and refreshing treat. I used organic bananas in this, they just taste better! I used a small popcicle maker for this. Each popcicle holds 1/4 cup of this mixture.

This is a rich creamy ice cream, from the essetti.com website. Use very ripe bananas and only fresh lemon juice - not bottled. Preparation time is estimated, depends on your ice cream freezer.

    Recipe #131075

Found online. When bananas are past their prime, overripe, they are sweeter....so no sugar added, unless you need it.

    Recipe #451819

This is our all-time favorite ice cream in my family. It is super delicious. I like using about 4 medium bananas to make this ice cream. If you prefer, you can also use only 3 for lighter texture.

From 1970 Herb Cottage Cookbook, Washington Cathedral.

    Recipe #451499

Except for the small amount of fat in the bananas, there is hardly any fat in this recipe, and it's very very refreshing! If you don't have an ice cream maker you can spread the mixture into a shallow pan and freeze, just give it a stir with a fork every 45 minutes, once it gets fairly firm, briefly toss it in a blender to break up the ice crystals and then refreeze.

    Recipe #161939

Frozen banana pops are a snap to make, and taste a lot like ice cream. For extra pizzazz drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving. The recipe calls for using popsicle sticks. If unavailable, the end of each pop can be held in a folded piece of plastic wrap.
