With 2 avocado trees, I am always on the look-out for good recipes. I found this in the December 2014 O Magazine. I am not clear whether this is 2 large Haas or buttery Florida style avocados....experimenting will tell.

This is a very simple dessert that we discovered in Morocco. It was served in many restaurants for a light end to all kinds of meals and the combination of cinnamon and fruit is wonderful. The most important thing is to find lovely, sweet and juicy oranges. If you use pale, tasteless ones this recipe won't work at all.

I use General Foods International Coffees, Cuppuccino flavor for this in place of the instant espress powder. If you are using espresso to make this, make certain that you use only the instant espresso powder! This can be made a couple hours in advance. This will work without chilling the bowl and beaters but the cream will beat up better if you chill them first. You will LOVE THIS!

Cutting down or eliminating dairy, but still want something to top pumpkin pie or dip strawberries in? Coconut milk makes just as thick and rich whipped cream as whipping cream. And the only different in preparation is to remember to put the coconut milk in the fridge long enough to chill. An additional plus is that whipped coconut cream does not break down the way dairy does. This whipped cream can be covered and stored for up to a few days without separation taking place.

Here's a tropical twist on traditional smores, and it's slightly healthier.
