I make these every Christmas for the cookie tray that I always have well stocked for our family's annual Christmas party. This is such a simple recipe with a few common ingredients that most people always have on hand in their kitchen pantry. And it produces such a wonderful bar cookie with a delectible almond taste. It's the perfect treat for any cookie exchange or potluck gathering.

Light & fluffy, fine-textured, and very moist. Very simple. You can sprinkle this with powdered sugar, if you like.

I got this recipe from a friend when I was in the tenth grade. She gave me one at lunch and I loved it! (I love banana bread, so this was perfect!) I asked for the recipe that day and I decided to post it! I hope you like it!

If these delicate goodies don't pep you up -- nothing will! Sounded so good that I had to post this recipe from Cooking Light. These meringue kisses are small and yields 3 dozen.

I saw this on Ten Dollar Dinners and it sounded delish. I have it on the menu to make and didn't want to lose it, so posting it here. The flavor is bright and the cookies are soft and chewy. I hope you enjoy, it has rave reviews on the foodnetwork site. You can use smaller scoops to make 30 intead of 15 cookies. One reviewer made these dairy and gluten free by substituting coconut oil (@ room temp coconut oil is in its solid form, in place of butter; adds natural sweetness, eliminates all the cholesterol, All Purpose Gluten Free Flour, and adding 1/4 tsp Xanthan Gum per 1c flour (helps ingredients bind as would gluten. She baked them in a convection oven at 350 degrees for 9 minutes. Recipe courtesy Melissa d'Arabian, Episode: Wallet Friendly Wraps

This recipe is the most accurate to Chicago Lunch Cookies that everyone enjoyed at schools in Chicago, not to mention the easiest recipe.

From www.gingerbreadbagels.com. I am making these tonight, but needed to get the nutritional information. I left out the cinnamon, but added it to the recipe. This recipe does not have any oil, butter or pounds of sugar. In fact there’s only 1/4 cup of brown sugar.

A twist on both carrot cake and zucchini bread. Yummy! From Better Homes & Gardens, Aug. 2001.

My mother was making these treats 40 years ago for her kids. My college age nephew asked me to make a batch for him yesterday and they are so easy and fast to make. Much less time consuming than a batch of cookies. And yummy too.

Want a dessert pizza but don't want to order out? Try this little piece of heaven! Straight from the Boboli pizza website. Reminds me of summer camp as a kid... This is so great to make for kids parties or sleepovers. Very impressive.

I like these as they are not dead sweet like some are. Just honey peanutty goodness.

    Recipe #477653

I found this recipe on a library bookmark (believe it or not) and decided to try it out--the result was delicious! If you love the words chocolatey, peanut buttery, sweet and addictive, you'll love these cookies.

    Recipe #222808

These tasty crunchy bites take only 5 minutes to make. They are highly customizeable and a blast for kids to make. Although there is peanut butter included, the flavor is very subtle. Another recipe from my crazy experiments in the kitchen!

This is a very old recipe. Libbie says to sieve the pumpkin. I just used canned pumpkin and a lot of spice and lemon extract.
