Works a treat for paper mache, just use paint brushes to get it on! We usually add a bit of food coloring so that we can see where we have painted it on.

    Recipe #193496

Found this recipe in a family-friendly cookbook. Sounds like fun for a summer day!

    Recipe #133961

This came from an episode from food network. This is a cute and festive kid pleaser. A real creative way to make a treat and a party favor all in one. Can be served for birthday parties, holidays or even bake sales. This recipe allows you to add your own creative flare.I find that the candy coating from the craft store is easier to work with. You will also need goody bags and 1 large bag of mini packs of candy such as smarties, m&m's, or twizzlers e.t.c.

    Recipe #101710

This is a very "kid friendly" recipe I invented when I was 9 for my parent's Super Bowl party 2 years ago. They were a HUGE hit!! They are soooooo easy to make too!

Peaches and yogurt that look like eggs sunny-side up! My 10 yr old saw this idea on a children's TV show and used to surprise her younger sisters; it was a big hit. It would be a great afterschool snack or quick breakfast for slumber parties.

    Recipe #144778

This is a show stopping dessert that will receive oohhs and aahhs at any gathering! This looks great made in a bundt pan or jello mold but also works in a 9x13 pan. Use your favourite flavours!

I made these for years with my kids using a gingerbread boy, then gave it smarties for eyes licorice for its mouth, just all good fun.

    Recipe #75757

I saw this recipe on a television show and it is a "good thing!"

    Recipe #15589

    From Family Fun Magazine.

A fun candy treat to make for a themed party - to pull kids in and inspire imagination! From the RR archives. ;) Maybe for a Japanese dinner party when the kiddos may not eat sushi with you--this might help them participate for dessert? Or just a fun kids party--or even Halloween. ;) I haven't tried these yet, so I guessed on the times, but will update once I do. I am a slow one in the kitchen though!! *Increase amounts according to number of people/portions desired*

These are extremely popular with Aussie kids. Great for childrens parties.

    Recipe #40851

A really fun and delicious treat that kids and adults will both enjoy. Especially good for Halloween or kids parties. Hope you enjoy! Adapted from PIL Halloween Party Recipes

These are Delicious! I concocted this from three different recipes for the most watermelon flavor. The orange juice paired with the watermelon gives these popsicles the color of a beautiful sunset, which is a great time to have one.

    Recipe #128816

You can use any flavors or colors you like. Because these popsicles are just basically frozen jello, they don't leave a big sticky mess everywhere as they melt, great for little kids! Use Cool Whip for white layers. Ingredients are per box of jello. "Cooking time" is time for prepping and freezing one layer.

Colored sugar to top cookies with, or roll them in .. sometimes I use it to top muffins when I make them for kids .. I usually use coarse sugar, and it works well ..

    Recipe #79278

While cleaning out my pantry (ugh, what a chore) I found some wooden bbq skewers that have been replaced by metal ones. What do I do with these? The little wheels in my mind started grinding and I came up with this idea for my Halloween Boo-ffet.

    Recipe #156881

Build an Oreo turkey with Oreos, candy and frosting. This would be a fun activity for (school-age) kids at a Thanksgiving gathering to put these together. They can display them at their dinner place and eat them for dessert....if they can wait that long. The recipe I am listing will be to make one dozen turkeys.

    Recipe #142998

These candies/cookies look like little pots, complete with dirt and flowers growing out of them. So cute, especially for any spring time function where there's children.

Pears made into cute little mice! * A quick pear dessert - In general, a typical Australian dish is a typical British dish, which is to say a typical European or American dish with most of the subtleties of flavour (and difficulty in making) removed. The following dessert is a genuine Old Family Favorite in Australia. * Candied angelica is almost impossible to find in North America. Anything else with the appropriate properties of sweetness and shape may be substituted, e.g. a piece of chocolate or candy cut to size, such as an Ovation mint divided longitudinally or shoestring candy. You can also add the shoestring for whiskers.

    Recipe #142504

This recipe came from the Top Secret Recipes site a couple of years ago. It is a really simple kid pleasing recipe
