This recipe comes from Not Just Cheesecake! a low-fat, low-cholesterol, low-calorie dessert cookbook. It is wonderful! This is made with yogurt cheese and produces a very creamy low-fat pie. The longer you strain the yogurt the more whey is released and the firmer the cheese. I have been making it for years and use my microwave graham cracker crust.

Rich and creamy with a fudgey brownie base, this desert also makes an elegant presentation. Garnishing the top of the torte with chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate leaves and mint sprigs will visually put it over the top! Cooking time is mostly cooling & chilling time.

I love this recipe because buttercream is the best frosting for cakes and strawberries are my favorite fruit. I learned to make this recipe while attending culinary arts school and have my own variation and way of making it.

    Recipe #99696

Fresh strawberries and chocolate baked in a delicious oatmeal batter that bakes out crispy on the outside and chewy inside. These are really big cookies! You can also cut the strawberries in quarters, depending on how large your berries are, also these oatmeal cookies are still delicious without using the strawberries.

You won't believe how easy this cake is to make. When you present it to your guests, I promise you will receive "oohs and aahs". It is beautiful to look at and absolutely scrumptious to eat. My father is not quick to dole out compliments on food, he said this was the best cake he has ever had. When strawberries are in peak season I often substitute them for the raspberries.

A great warm weather dessert, cool, creamy, light, refreshing and no cooking! You can experiment with other fruit and berry combinations. Prep time does not include chilling.

This came in my March issue of Southern Living. I immediately saw it and felt the need to post. My family loves anything Strawberry and this is amazingly easy and oh so delicious. I hope you all enjoy it too!! I doubled the amount of frosting as they did in the magazine.

Haven't tried this recipe yet. Clipped it from my aunt's "Farm Bureau" magazine. The picture in the mag looked so good, I knew I'd definitely make this soon.

    Recipe #83368

This recipe is a little different because it used fresh strawberries. The cook time is an estimate since I'm not sure about it.

This is strawberry-shortcake-mixed-together! Quite delicious, especially on a warm summer evening. It can also be made in a Bundt pan (very lightly sprayed with Pam) served with frozen strawberries (thawed) and cream.

Fresh strawberries make this punch really special.

    Recipe #23224

    Fresh strawberries, gotta love them.

RSC #7 June 2005. This is my first experience with couscous and I hope Evelyn is proud of my results. It's easiest to use a tart pan with a removable bottom or a spring form pan and press dough up the sides about 1 1/2 inches. I had about 1/2 cup left over which I put into muffin tins and filled. Dough can be covered and refrigerated overnight. I can't put this in the recipe, but you can serve this with ice cream, or chocolate sauce, or whipped cream, or fruity yogurt, or.. or... or.....

    Recipe #132018

This is based on a recipe from an inn on the coast of Maine. They serve it warm with butter or whipped cream, but it can also be served cold.

    Recipe #122572

A delightful addition to that Friday night family pizza. Found this at Guide to Southern Food. If using fresh strawberries, mash, sprinkle with sugar, cover, refrigerate for 2 hours, and add 1/4 cup water when cooking. I had unsweetened frozen strawberries and added 3 packets of splenda while cooking.

    Recipe #121875

This is a festive and beautiful dessert.. It is built in layers that show through the clear glass dish.. It will become a holiday favorite
