    This is our family favorite sloppy joes! Tangy, sweet and spicy with a great balance of flavors--hope you enjoy too. :) Plus, this is a quick 'n easy one dish meal--perfect for those busy weeknight meals. Made with a few extra veggies sneaked in, plus my own easy sassy homemade bbq sauce. YUM! Serve hot on a warmed hamburger bun (we like soft potato buns) with or without shredded cheese, and a pickle spear on the side is good. I like to make a double batch, one for now and one for later because leftovers are super fabulous the next day (and it freezes beautifully, as well). Hope you enjoy as much as we do!! :)

    Here's a fabulous one-pan paella that I've created using my favorite, scallops! You can easily change it up and make it your own by subbing shrimp and/or chicken, for the scallops. Feel free to adjust the seasonings to suit your taste. Note: I didn't measure, so recipe amounts and times are just a guideline. Enjoy!

    An easy one-pan dish that is similar to beef stroganoff, only way better in my opinion! Recipe was given to my mother by a dear family friend in the sixties, and has been a family favorite since. Thanks Lou Anne! Enjoy!

    Quick and easy, tasty comfort food! My son's favorite when he was a little boy -- and I still get requests for this stroganoff from my grown son when he visits! Good with hot buttered egg noodles and a vegetable of your choice. I hope you enjoy! Note: Also very good made with cream of chicken soup, in place of the cr. of mushroom soup. Sour cream can be subbed for the yogurt, and sometimes I add a few dashes of Hungarian paprika.

    Creamy homemade alfredo sauce, fresh cheese ravioli and a luscious pumpkin-sage sauce combine for this quick and easy meal! Great served with a crisp green salad and a crusty baguette, -or- may be served as a starter. Notes: This dish from the Mantua region of Northern Italy is traditionally eaten on Christmas Eve. You can add a bit of fruit chutney, and sub pistachios for the pine nuts. Enjoy!

    A quick, easy and delicious one-pan chicken and broccoli dish that I like to serve over a bed of brown rice or mashed potatoes and sprinkled with fresh snipped parsley. Wonderful!     I've been enjoying spaghetti all my life! Been to Italy, and have tried numerous versions all around the globe including this one which remains my all-time favorite (perfected over the years by yours truly!). Hope you enjoy, too. Notes: I like to keep a bag of meatballs (see my Frankies Spuntino New York - Italian Meatballs recipe #452689) on hand in the freezer, for ease of prep. You can use your favorite fresh or frozen prepared meatballs, -or- crumbled & browned ground beef is also fine. Just add a tossed green salad and garlic bread (see recipe #109257), and a nice bottle of red wine to round out the meal. Salut! Tip: I use a jar of Classico Italian Sausage & Peppers Pasta Sauce, and whole wheat spaghetti noodles (De Cecco), but your favorite pasta sauce and regular spaghetti noodles is fine.

    Fresh, light and tasty describes this Italian style linguine and fresh veggies dish! You can vary the ingredients according to what's in season. Our favorite is with seasonal fresh asparagus, and the addition of pesto and clams. Very nice with a glass of dry white wine and a crusty loaf of Italian bread or sourdough.     The name says it all--this sandwich is big, thick and buttery, with a slight kick from the horseradish! Very quick and easy to prepare, makes a yummy lunch or simple dinner. Serve warm, with a pickle spear and chips, add a cup of soup or side salad for a more substantial meal. A side of Avocado Horseradish Spread recipe #284084 #284084 makes a tasty dipping sauce.     Here's our family favorite simple macaroni and cheese! Yummy creamy goodness and an easy one pan dish made quick and simple on the stovetop; score! Almost identical to the recipe on the Velveeta box. We like ours sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese, at the table. Yummy add-ins are: veggies (Fordhook limas are my favorite and DH likes extra pepper and cottage cheese in his), some leftover ham, a can of tuna, or even some sliced hotdogs. Be as creative as you like! Perfect for those busy week-night dinners. Enjoy!

    Just a quick and easy way to get nice crispy/chewy bacon in the microwave, YUM!! Been making it this way for years, and thought I would share. This method sure beats the spattered grease mess all over the stove top from pan frying, or having to use the oven in the hot summertime. Enjoy! NOTE: Cooking times will vary according to your microwave, the type of bacon, and your desired level of crispness/ chewiness, so feel free to adjust cooking times as necessary.

    Great hearty rib-sticking meal for breakfast, lunch or supper! Very popular in my household. This is a versatile one-pan recipe-- you can sub or add ingredients as desired-- try ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, or chives. (Note: For an equally delicious simplified version of Bauernfruhstuck using frozen Potatoes O'Brien, please see my recipe #278230). Delicious! P.S. Any leftovers you have make a wonderful breakfast the next day--reheat a few seconds in the microwave (although I've been known to eat this cold), and serve with toast or stuff into a flour tortilla for a quick breakfast on-the-go.

    Here's a quick and simplified version of my Hearty German Farmer's Breakfast - Bauernfruhstuck recipe #120363, and just as delicious! Uses pre-cut frozen potatoes (I use the Ore Ida brand Potatoes O'Brien), onions, bell peppers, and precooked sausage, ham or bacon. Leftovers (if any) are awesome, and may be eaten either warm or cold. Makes a great breakfast wrap, too. Serve with some fresh fruit and your favorite beverage for a delicious breakfast, lunch or supper.
