This salad is so refreshingly easy to make and goes great with any Mexican or Carribean dish. When my husband said he was making Carne Asada on the grill .... I got busy and made this salad to compliment the flavors. The lime based dressing is very tasty and the added chips and avocado are the main attraction. ;)

Taking what I know about rice pilaf, that it can be pretty blan sometimes, I came up with a great TASTY way to make rice. My family requests this all the time. Great served with Chicken, Pork and Steak. For those of you that don't want all the vegetables in your rice, try this one!

I've been experimenting with Mandarin Absolut lately... and I have found many ways to enjoy it. Didn't want to splurge on the bottle for just one drink so I'm adding my favorites. This is a great combination. If you like cranberry Juice and Mandarin Vodka, this is for you.

    Recipe #299767

This is a nice refreshing drink made by the pitcher for long hot daze or for a crowd. Tastes like lemonade, so watch yourself ;) One great thing about this drink.... it's half water so you keep yourself hydrated... and very versitle with the citrus. I've made this with regular vodka and substituted the citrus, lemons, oranges, limes, very versable ...add simple syrup, if you like it sweeter. it's delicious both ways. Enjoy --V

I found this recipe to be comparable to PF CHANG's!!!! I make these steamed shrimp wonton wraps as appetizers, served with a soy sauce and they disappear fast. Really easy to make, throw everyting in a food processer makes them come together in no time. You'll want to double this recipe, your guest will want more than one ;)

    Recipe #292284

I love beer with a couple dashes of tapatio and a salted rim. Recently while in Costa Rica, we had ordered a beer called a "Diablo" which is how they serve beer with a shot of Tequilla in it. Not a big fan of Tequilla, I asked if I could have mine with a shot of vodka.... never occurred to me at the time to order without the shot ;) Hey, I found new way to drink beer. It was surprisingly good. Taking that and adding a bloody Mary Mix I made my own Spiked Beer.

If you like it hot or spicy, this is your bloody mary. I tasted this and HAD to have the recipe. Shhh, the bartender would be fired if I gave his name. Although he didn't give me the actual recipe, he told me what some of the ingredients were, and the rest was up to me. ;) I think I nailed it.

This fabulous cake comes from the majestic Halekulani Hotel on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii, where it has been the hotel’s signature cake for years. It’s a light, creamy concoction that sings “spring.” The cake is a light sponge cake, filled with pastry cream, and topped off with whipped cream. I saw this in the local Relish magazine that comes with our newspaper. I had to post it and share it with my zaar friends. ;)
