This comes from The complete Italian Vegetarian cookbook and is so easy. The slow cooking of the carrots makes them incredibly sweet. The book suggest greated Parmigian-Reggiano cheese as an optional addtion add to the top after cooking. We have not tried using the cheese as these are so good as is.

A rich, chocolate coating over decadent, double-chocolate bite-size brownies with festive toppings. I got this recipe at a TOH Christmas Show and they are INCREDIBLE!! They are probably the absolute best cookie/candy type treat I've ever made!! We noticed they tasted even better on day 2 & 3 so you might want to make them ahead of time. I used candy coating wafers to dip them in rather than more chocolate chips. One of the reasons was, I wanted to dip half of them in white chocolate. If you try that, make sure you do the white chocolate first...when the brownies are right out of the freezer. As they warmed up, I had trouble with crumbs getting in the coating. Both kinds, the white and dark chocolate, were fantastic though!

This is an easy recipe that looks stunning when served to guests. You can skip the decorative shapes if you wish and it will still look great. I used christmas trees, snowmen, reindeer, etc...you get the picture. You could customize it for any holiday. It really makes a great presentation and tastes great, too!

This pie starts with a delicious custard placed in a baked pie shell, then a layer of halved fresh strawberries is added and then topped with luscious freshly whipped cream. Custard can be made ahead and pie assembled just before serving. Awesome!

It took me 5 years to get this simple recipe from one of my favorite restaurants. Every time I asked they said they couldn't give it out. I kept asking and finally here it is. I love it-I was shocked to see how simple it was. I hope you will love it also.

Love this novel idea from Blue Belle Ice Cream. Originally uses Blue Bell Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream for a St. Patrick's Day theme, but any ice cream works well. Freeze time not included. With adult supervision, can easily be made with kids.

These are best Sticky Buns a.k.a. Pecan Rolls you will ever taste. When I bake them, I keep an eye on them during the last minutes of baking so they don't overbake and they are the nicest, softest rolls ever. The flavor is great and the pecans and sauce are great, too. I just love these--anything gooey and sweet. HINT: Keep the dough as soft as possible when mixing and shaping. You want it just so you can handle it. That is the trick to making soft rolls.
