A simple recipe for beans without a zillion ingredients. Preparation time does not include the overnight soak. You can also use 4 cans of cooked beans to avoid the wait.
These are really good 'baked beans'. Especially for those who don't like their beans sweet.
This is a delicious dish best made with fresh broad beans and mountain-cured Serrano ham. It works best with large spring onions or scallions, which have a gentler flavour than normal onions. I'm guessing at times. Posted for Zaar World Tour III
I love this cold served bean salad, it is even better after a day or so of marinating. If you don't like lima beans, substitute chickpeas.
