This is another from Southern Living. This is my kids favorite. I make up the ice cubes in advance and freeze them so I always have them on hand. Cook time is for the freeze time of the ice cubes.

This is such a heavenly cake!! I got it from a friend's Southern Living cookbook. It is a challenge dealing with the coconut, but well worth the effort!!!

    Recipe #80104

Stock your pantry ahead of time to whip up this delicious satisfying soup. It comes together quickly for a nice meal. I got the recipe from Southern Living Magazine (Carol Michael Hewett, Texas). I made a few changes by adding celery, and adding 3 more cups of broth (because we don't like soup that thick). The original recipe called for 5 cups of water. I used part water and part chicken broth.

    Recipe #81217

Clippped from an old copy of Southern Living. Directions are for either stovetop or rice cooker.

    Recipe #88441

One of my recipes featured in Southern Living

    Recipe #89008

I found this recipe in the June 2004 Southern Living magazine and tweaked it to suit my family's tastes. It is perfect for a light evening meal on these hot summer nights. The great thing about this recipe is that you can stop by your local bakery and pick up a loaf of Focaccia bread or make your own, whichever you prefer. If you have never tried making your own Focaccia bread you are in for a surprise at how easy they are to make and how delicious they are right out of the oven.

This recipe is from an old Southern Living magazine, ca. 2002. I've used this numerous times with much success.

    Recipe #99967

This is such a quick and easy recipe -- it looks elegant on a buffet table. I have used all sorts of dippers -- marshmallows, pound cake, fruits, etc. You can also substitute white chips for the chocolate and almond extract for the vanilla. The recipe is from Southern Living.
