A recipe from Quaker Oats in response to a recipe request

    Recipe #64881

If you haven't heard of or made "wacky cake" before, don't let the strange combo of ingredients scare you away. Trust me, it will be one of the most moist and delicious cakes you'll ever have! Unlike traditional wacky cake, this recipe makes a wonderful and refreshing lemon cake rather than a chocolate cake. Personally, I think it's the perfect summer dessert!

    Recipe #134099

This is a delightful danish-like dessert! I've been making this since I was single (in fact it mighta been what help me land my man!)

    Recipe #124805

A crunchy-style cookie, that is so rich, buttery and lemony. (Note: plan ahead, the dough needs to be refrigerated for 2 or more hours).

    Recipe #79158

A good, old fashioned lemon pie!

These cookies are soft and delicious! I found this recipe in a cookbook titled "Treasured Recipes - The Ladies of Sacred Heart" (Houston, Texas). The original recipe said it makes 6 dozen, but I think it only makes 2-3 dozen.

    Recipe #35219

I found this recipe in the March ’06 Good Housekeeping Magazine and had to try it immediately! We all loved it! I made a few minor changes to the frosting: I used 4 cups sugar, 8 oz. cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and I also added some grated lemon peel (maybe 1 tsp.) Both cake and frosting were deliciously lemony! :)

    Recipe #159963

Easy to make and a nice light refreshing dessert. A must for lemon lovers like me!

These are delicious lemony bars baked in a pie plate and cut into wedges. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream for a special easy to make dessert.

    Recipe #86014

These are melt in your mouth good and a one of a kind cookie. I always triple this recipe for potluck days since everyone grabs 2 handfuls.

Description: A really beautiful looking cake. Nice contrast between the white cake and the deep Lemon yellow color frosting and nice lemony filling. This is a real treat for lemon lovers.

A rich lemony, buttery filling--this is superb eaten as a pudding, or in a pie (see tip for making pie)! Recipe was passed down to a Southern Living Editor from her late mother, Louise Floyd of Potter's Station, Alabama. Thank you Ms. Floyd, for sharing this lovely recipe with us!

If you like lemon, you're going to love this cake! Saw this recipe being made by the Barefoot Contessa on FoodTV and just had to have it. Not being overly experienced, I was a bit intimidated by the recipe. However, it is not very hard, looks great and the taste is incredible! Cook time does not include time for the cakes to cool.

A simple but good lemony cake. This cake uses cake flour which isn't the same thing as all-purpose flour. Source: Bon Appetit Oct 1984.

I quickly wrote the ingredients and directions down as these were being prepared on a local television program. I believe it was Martha Stewart's Everyday Living. Posted here as they look delicious and I don't want to lose the recipe! Hope you enjoy.

    Recipe #117636

These mini cupcakes are packed with lemon flavor. A Paula Deen recipe.

    Recipe #148547

Lemon lovers only! This is one moist and very lemony pound cake that stays moist in a cake keeper for a week! Needs no icing whatsoever!

    Recipe #110604

Only try these if you love lemon as they are pretty intense. I used the grater on the zest of one lemon and it was no where near 1-2 tbs but I think it was plenty. We liked them but my son preferred his without the glaze. I'd like to try the glaze with confectioners sugar and try the muffins with vanilla yogurt some time.

    Recipe #4151

A different flavor of pancake! These make nice and thick, fluffy pancakes. Altered from Cooking for Healthy Living.
