refreshing tea sandwiches that pair well with my curried chicken tea sandwiches as well. A small zucchini works well if english cucumbers are unavailable.

    Recipe #454516

Tasty finger food, not just great with tea but also fantastic for potlucks and appetizers for your next party. I marinaded this chicken breast but you can also use left over rotisserie chicken.

    Recipe #444574

from Cooking Light magazine. These are very good and filling sandwiches. We all enjoy them.

    Recipe #210163

But it's NOT crab -- it's imitation crabmeat so it's CHEAP... and delicious! I created this one because I really like the cream chowders that I've savored in New England. We have trouble obtaining good seafood where I live here in southern Ohio, so I decided to make due with what I COULD get. One thing that's always cheap and available around here is frozen imitation crabmeat. So I gave this a lot of thought, did some preliminary experimentation, and this dish was the ultimate result. I'm very happy with this recipe and I find it quite similar in flavor to a rich clam chowder. The idea of using local fresh and common vegetables worked out well for boosting the flavor too. While the veggies enhance the dish, make no mistake about it, this recipe definitely conveys the full ambiance of a seafood chowder. Cooking and prep times are approximate. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. big pat.

    Recipe #190168

This is by far the best clam chowder recipe ever. My Mom used to make this and there was never any left for the next day. I use minced clams because I don't like the whole ones, but whole clams can be substituted easily.

    Recipe #280936

A nice healthy soup. Inexpensive to make, too.

    Recipe #279494

Recipe from Steve Erehart's Mom, served at a football party... couldn't get the taste out of my mind for days! Had to call and ask how!

    Recipe #108947

    From BHG. A slow-cooker chowder.

    Recipe #89177

A little different delicious variation of a tuna salad sandwich. This recipe comes from Aunt Bee's Mayberry Cookbook. The recipe was submited my Sherry Hyatt of Kingsport, TN The recipe says it serves 8, but I usually only get four sandwiches out of a single recipe

    Recipe #230069

This is how my mum gives it to us. I'm pretty sure the eggs are a family recipe.

    Recipe #182212

This is a scrumptious, out of the ordinary sandwich, that will tickle your taste buds! Popular in England, Scandinavia, and all over the USA (especially California)

    Recipe #51144

You know, growing up, I had all sorts of funny combos of food I liked. This one seems to be the one I am still eating when I want a snack and nothing else in the house sounds good. I love it with Chicken Noodle Soup.

    Recipe #205653

Use whole wheat or flavored tortillas for a twist. Tuna, cream cheese, crushed pineapple, salted sunflower seeds, parsley and curry powder make up this tasty wrap. Can be frozen.

    Recipe #176279

Parmesan cheese and Spam on a bagel. Served with a salad and a cold beverage, it makes a nice lunch or a late night snack.

    Recipe #37330

I'm getting tired of seeing the so-called tortilla soup recipes running around that are nothing but a glorified chicken soup with tortillas added. Here's the real McCoy. Similar to the recipe at Houston's restaurant (modified, of course, to suit my tastes) For a beef version check out my recipe #261711.

    Recipe #4627

I LOOOOOOVE smoked oyster stew!! This is my own easy version! It's delish! Enjoy! :) Time does not include cooking the bacon, I always have cooked bacon on hand in the freezer that I use for ocaisions like this.

    Recipe #220212

This recipe goes back many years, very simple to make, and it tastes delicious.

    Recipe #109969

this is my favorite food in the whole world, it is so delicious! it is a little on the spicy side though, since that is how we like it...

    Recipe #195263

I think this is our #1 all time family favorite and it's often requested for birthday dinners. It's the 'Bestest' because my daughter described it as such when she was little. This freezes well and I've added directions for that and for reheating.

    Recipe #56366

This is part of my "make after work" soup collection that I reserve for rainy and/or miserable days. It is rich, tasty, and so soothing! You need about an hour to make it (less if you are fast) and an hour to let it sit on the stove. This is an Italian style lentil soup.
