Good sammich, cold beer, warm fire!! Who needs a date??

    Recipe #89760

One of my kids' favorite meals. The meatballs can be prepared ahead of time and frozen, if desired.

    Recipe #102843

This warm, open-faced sandwich is easy to put together and really hits the spot. Something a little different from the standard lunch fare.

    Recipe #90189

It's quick, easy, filling and tasty. Serve as a main dish or an appetizer to a Mexican meal.

    Recipe #29986

    A distinctive and flavorful sandwich.

    Recipe #155497

I serve this over white rice.

    Recipe #155532

One of the best potato soups, I think the sour cream makes the difference, I like to add in the cayenne pepper for just a bit of heat, and I most always double the complete recipe and use 4 russet potatoes and 4 red potatoes. If desired you can add in some cooked cubed potatoes just before serving and sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese, I most always do! you will love this!

    Recipe #152884

You can of coarse use your favorite meatball recipe for these, but the ingredients listed here makes a great mini meatball with lot of flavor, or see my recipe #69173. Purchase the longer crusty rolls for this. You can prepare the meatballs and simmer in the sauce, then refrigerate until ready to use. Prep time does not include making the marinara sauce.

    Recipe #153825

Growing up in the 50's in the south, Frito Pie could be found at every drive-in, ballpark and greasy spoon cafe. It isn't put in a casserole, it isn't baked in the oven. It's eaten right out of the Frito package with a plastic spoon. The greasier the chili, the better the Frito Pie.

    Recipe #154420

Are you looking for a great tasting meal that can be all ready for you when you walk in the door from work of school? This recipe is so easy to put together, and has such nice texture and flavor. The kids are sure to love it! Plus its fat free!

    Recipe #151252

I love McDonald's Sausage McMuffin, but this healthy creation is just as tasty (Boca burgers are scrumptious with the right fixings!).

The mayonnaise, believe it or not, makes all the difference in this sandwich. I and my family just have to have one every now and then. Good for a quick breakfast (if not on a diet!)

    Recipe #26936

I hate eggs but this is my favorite sandwich.

    Recipe #83698

This is our favorite sandwich. The bread can also be toasted. I sometimes make it without the egg for a lighter version.

    Recipe #56191

Variations on a theme...Another variant of Goulash, not to mention another 'one dish meal' from my collection that has also been made more heart healthy by changing to whole grain pasta, using turkey breast and no-salt-added tomatoes...In addition, you could go meatless by removing the ground turkey breast and doubling the kidney beans...Add a tossed salad to make it complete!

    Recipe #154076

Paula Deen's version of Taco Soup. As with most of the other things I have watched her make on the Food Network, this is easy to make and delicious! I ran to the market to buy all the cans of goodies to make this immediately.

    Recipe #111231

If you can run a can opener, you can easily prepare this delicious soup! It's a family favorite, adapted from a recipe by Jan Olpin, that's tasty, quick-to-make, and freezes excellently!

There are a million variations on chili, but only one true Texas-style chili. Once you eat this you'll find it difficult to eat the others. You can add pinto beans at the end, if you must, but you know we don't. This is very close to what we cook in the cookoffs--you don't think I'd post the actual recipe do you? :-) Note: Sazon Goya is a seasoning made from coriander and annato and adds flavor and color. You can find it in the Mexican section of most grocery stores, but you can omit it if you can't find it. Sazon is the seasoning, Goya the brand; Accent brand also makes a Sazon seasoning.

From the Washington, DC restaurant's website. My husband loves chili and this is one of his favorites. On the website, this is described as: Sweet and slightly hot, this saloon-style Chili has been a staple on Clyde's menu for over 30 years. Liz Taylor would order it by the gallon and have it shipped to her house! Since we no longer offer our chili in the can at Britches clothing store, it's only fair that we give you the recipe that has been top secret for many years. *Note: the light chili powders have more of the hot seeds or flakes ground with the pods. By using more of the dark chili powder, our chili is a little sweeter.
