An "Anything Goes" would-be Korean soup. But if you don't have basic korean ingredients around the home, then I include my typical substitutions. * Kochukaru and Kochujang are typical Korean ingredients for Hot Pepper Flakes and Hot Pepper Paste (in that order) * If you do not have these available, I have included Cayenne Pepper and Maggi Sweet Chili Sauce as you can get the at most grocery stores This recipe was inspired by About.com's Naomi Imatome-Yun (Korean Cooking). This is my favorite variation

    Recipe #401826

This recipe was inspired by the lentil soup at this falafel place where I used to live. I have always had trouble finding lentil soup recipes that were more of this Middle Eastern type, so thought I'd share mine!

    Recipe #109205

A noodle bowl is basically a soup. This recipe can easily be changed to a beef noodle bowl, buy substituting beef for the chicken and beef broth for the chicken broth. The original recipe calls for tofu, but I don't eat this. Hard-headed, I guess. If you want it vegetarian use the tofu and vegetable broth. Additional bouillon powder can be added if you like the broth more flavorful.

    Recipe #351343

This is a new twist on the classic corn chowder. You could serve it with nan bread or garlic bread.

From Taste of Home. I forget what the original name was, but my family didn't like it so we changed it to something they found a little more appealing.

A wonderfully spicy and creamy soup that screams with flavor. The Thai name for this soup is Tom kha gai.

    Recipe #357069

The flavor of the roasted red peppers really makes this recipe. This is a dish that everybody loves. Served with some warm, crusty bread there's nothing like it on a wintry day.

    Recipe #55304

Anything with coconut and lime just takes me right back to the tropics. I love this soup. It's actually a Thai recipe and is very easy and quick create. Plus, I usually have these ingredients on hand anyway, so it is also inexpensive. Enjoy.

    Recipe #56864

A good, spicy, filling soup. This is the only soup I can make that my family will accept as a meal - we love the Thai flavours of lime, coriander, fish sauce and coconut....mmm!
