I've been looking for the perfect crumble recipe for a long time and my friend Tess had it! I've made this different times with peaches, apples, plums, and rhubarb/strawberry but really any fruit or berries will do. It is easy to change the serving size or make more fruity or more crumbly as long as the crumble ingredients remain equal parts.
This baked brie puff pastry is rich, creamy, and dessert-like. It always disappears. I'm always asked for the recipe. Raspberry preserves goes great in this as well. Bringing in 2012 I made this using Recipe #463563!
A traditional yet basic pizza recipe-no unnecessary ingredients, no heavyhanded use of tomato sauce, no pineapple, no barbecued chicken. Only the best quality ingredients will work. Adapted from Diane Seed's Mediterranean dishes.
We love this recipe. It's based on the recipe that Nobu made famous at his restaurant (which I highly recommend) and on his television appearances. I often add a good amount of seaweed to the salad, just because we like it so much.
I tried this recipe after finding it on the internet, hoping to convince my family to eat vegetarian every now and then. It worked! It worked so well, they didn't even know there wasn't any meat in their burgers! This is nice and spicy and gets a lovely crust on it. This is vegetarian and vegan. You don't even need to serve it on a bun if you like! If you don't mind the cheese, it's great with a little shredded cheddar on top.
Prep time includes 2 hours chilling.
This is traditionally eaten for breakfast in Spain, but is similar to Italian bruchetta, which is usually considered and appetizer. So enjoy it any time of the day. If your tomatoes are small, you will want more - if really big, one should do it, this is very flexible.
Found online; posting for safe keeping...Mix in arugula as needed per serving, as it will become wilted if allowed to sit in the carrot mixture too long. (Time it takes for carrots to cool to room temperature not included in prep/cook times)
I developed this recipe for artichokes after having tired of simply steaming or boiling them and serving with vinaigrette. It's taken me about 5 years to finally develop this recipe and it's become a family favorite.
