    Snappy Sangrias

For New Year's Eve 2008, I had a Mexican Fiesta party for DH and my parents. I combined several of these recipes to make a nonalcoholic sangria (because DF had to drive home and DH does not like wine).

This recipe comes from the 2010 cookbook, Smoothie Heaven.

    Recipe #423850

This recipe is from the 2009 cookbook, Zero-Proof Cocktails. Preparation time does not include the time needed to chill the fruit in the cranberry juice.

    Recipe #377966

Many years ago, I came across a recipe for Chocolate Carmelitas. But I did not copy it. When I asked if anyone knew about them, the answer I got was there is chocolate in the regular carmelita recipe (the chips). But the recipe I saw was more chocolatey than that. Now at last I have come across a very chocolatey carmelita and it's an easy one, too. This may not be the same recipe, but it is a very good one. It starts with a box of brownie mix and with a few ingredients becomes a streusel-layered cookie that you can enjoy with a glass of cold milk. Cheers! The recipe comes from the book Brownie Mix Bliss by Camilla V. Saulsbury.

    Recipe #400544

I got this recipe from a Pampered Chef consultant who was doing a cooking demonstration in my home. I have searched and have not found this exact recipe - which I love even though I am not a wine drinker. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

    Recipe #384537

A white sparkling version of the classic from Chef Jose Andres.

    Recipe #375286

this is not my own personal recipe, i added it for the zaar world tour game and now zaar reps refuse to remove it.

    Recipe #307702

So named because of the use of stone-fruit flavors instead of the traditional citrus. Cheap, easy, deliciously potent, and more than enough to keep your crowd well-hydrated. The recipe is also easily halved, in case you have somewhere you need to be in the morning. ;)

    Recipe #374011

This is my take on Applebee's wine sangria.

    Recipe #217490

Very flavorful and refreshing. Making cubes out of fruit juice keeps the Sangria chilled and won't water it down as the cubes melt.

This is my sister's recipe and we made it this past weekend. It turned out great.

If you like Sangria, you will love this version. I started making this in 1968 and have slowly modified it over the years. I am happy with the final version. If you can't find the 6 ounce containers of juices, just double the recipe

This is another tasty recipe from Family Fun Magazine. My kids sipped this luxurious drink up on Cinco de Mayo!

fun and non-alcoholic version of a Mexican drink

    Recipe #306076

This was served at a favorite mexican recipe of mine. I was FINALLY given the recipe just before the business was sold! It's light, refreshing and inexpensive! You can adjust the alcohol easily by decreasing the wine and adding more juice. Or maybe you want to ad more wine :)

    Recipe #295358

There is little at Applebees' that I enjoy eating but go there often so I can enjoy this Sangria.
