"This recipe is fantastic with warm crusty Italian bread, or any other bread for that matter! Use extra virgin olive oil and really good aged balsamic vinegar. For best results, make a day ahead and store in the refrigerator so flavors can meld."

    Recipe #202215

I'm not sure where my brother got this recipe, but it is packed full of flavor and worthy of restaurants. My brother uses freeze dried herbs in this recipe, but I would assume fresh herbs would be just as wonderful. This olive oil dip is perfect for any crusty type artisan bread. Hope you enjoy!

    Recipe #363289

This recipe has taken the frying and fuss out of crab cakes by shaping and baking them in muffin tins. For the best taste, look for pasteurized crabmeat in the refrigerator case at your market's fish counter, a better choice than canned varieties. Make it a meal: try these crabcakes with some tangy tarter sauce and coleslaw. Note:To make bread crumbs tear crust from bread then tear into pieces & process in a food processer into coarse crumbs, one slice makes about 1/3 cup crumbs. The recipe is courtesy Eatingwell.com.

This is a recipe my mom made for years and years. I've made it for parties as well as when I've had company over for supper. Everyone loves these meatballs. These meatballs are made without the addition of pineapple.

    Recipe #88991

I am addicted to this stuff! It's so much quicker to make in the microwave. And the kitchen doesn't get heated up if you're making it in the summer. I use store brand corn, rice and wheat squares instead of the Chex brand. Just as good, and a lot less expensive.

This is a very tasty way to make wings. You can dip them in your favorite sauce when baked or they are yummy as-is. Recipe from CD Kitchen on the Internet.

    Recipe #40497

Unlike guacamole, everything is hand-chopped. I use it as a salsa for arepas, a chopped salad with meals, a chunky dip for corn chips.

I love Maggiano's restaurant. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants to go to. This is my favorite appetizer that I just have to have every time I go there. Enjoy!

    Recipe #316205

this was a $200.00 winner in the Create with Cheese category in Family Circle. The sweetness of the berries balances well with the saltiness of the blue cheese. A wonderful and deep flavor experience. The recipe calls for dried blueberries, but I had trouble finding them, so I used frozen berries but thawed them before using. Be careful when adding berries--stir gently or you will end up with blue appetizer. Cooking time is refrigeration time.

A really simple and tasty sausage recipe that requires the absolute minimum of effort. Perfect for Guy Fawkes Night.

From "The Best Of Byerly's" cookbook. Byerly's is THE greatest market I have ever been to-located in St. Louis Park, MN. Just to give you an idea-they sell Waterford & Lladros as well as groceries!! ALMOST makes visiting my in-laws worthwhile:)!!Tender "pastry" bundles encase a marvelous mushroom-cheese filling. Frozen puff pastry makes prep a breeze and gives these appetizers special-occasion status.

11/2005 Each bite is filled with breakfast flavors! You can taste the bacon, cheese, mushroom and green-onion flavors. Originally, this was a Pillsbury Bake-Off 41 (Hollywood,2004) recipe submitted by: Terri Barton of Salt Lake, Utah. It has been noted by one reviewer - that this dish should be used as a side to breakfast or brunch. Update: 07/21/2008. . . . . . . made this again for supper as I like to serve a light meal - we added more fresh mushrooms, we added more green onions, some pimentos and of course more eggs & bacon. :)

A favorite at all of our gatherings. They are usually the first thing on the table to disappear. If made ahead and placed in the fridge or freezer, you may want to thin the sauce out a bit. I find a tablespoon or two of water does the trick very nicely.

These can be served alone or served along side dips.

This is a simple "how to" recipe for roasting garlic in the oven. Super easy and the flavor of roast garlic is so sweet and creamy. Our favorite way to serve it up is to dump the roasted garlic in some good olive oil seasoned with salt/pepper, and serve it atop french bread. Certainly you can use roast garlic in many different recipes!

I love spinach and artichoke dip. However, I never really found one I didn't mess with. I came up with my own after many experimentations. I even once added some mushrooms, I didn't like it. It wasn't your average button mushrooms, I might try those sometime. Anyway, this is usually a hit with my family when we have get-togethers.

I got this from a dear friend years ago. I have served this many times and it is always a favorite with my family and friends. I usually double this recipe
