Not a lot of ingredients and super easy to throw together. I'm sure this won't replace my regular lasagna recipe, but it would be great for busy days. Adapted from Betty Crocker.

    Recipe #351307

Adapted from Betty Crocker...sounds interesting and I'm posting for safe keeping.

    Recipe #351363

This is one of the best recipes I've come up with for beef roast. The cheapest cuts come out tasting like you slaved over a stove all day long. You can add potatoes and carrots to the recipe if you like, or shred it and serve it as a French Dip sandwich with the au jus juice from the crock pot on the side. If you are watching your sodium, use the lite soy sauce and it will taste just as delicious.

    Recipe #103403

This is a recipe that I adopted from a sweet chef by the name of CBW. A real doll. "I always plan a crock pot meal for Sunday afternoon so that it's all ready after church, and I wanted something different than the chicken we usually end up with. This was a big hit!"

I got this recipe from a nurse at work. We're always sharing easy and family-pleasing recipes. The sauce tastes like a creamy Alfredo sauce. This is great with noodles.

    Recipe #12458

Amazing flavor, and so simple! No salt needed here. In fact, you may wish to use half the ranch dressing mix to cut back on the saltiness. Found this Crock-Pot pot roast recipe on of a website called www.recipegoldmine.com. It's all the rage there, so I thought I'd try it.

Great shredded beef sandwiches! Especially good with provolone or swiss cheese. Recipe from "Quick Cooking" magazine.

    Recipe #128348

With my Irish father in town, I wanted a ready-made meal after a long day of sight-seeing. I chose a hearty beef stew and wanted to incorporate his favorite beer, Guinness. I was worried that we left it in too long, but after 10 hours on low and 2 hours on warm ( it was a long day of sight-seeing) it was still awesome! Makes a flavorful, thick sauce to dip bread in. I filled the crock pot to the top because I wanted enough for them to have lunch left-overs, so decrease the amounts if needed. Enjoy!

Take the hassle out of dinner tonight by letting this scrumptious stew simmer in your crock pot all day. From BH&G.

    Recipe #51692

I have been making this since I was a newlywed. We still love it today. I personally like it best over buttered noodles, but it is very flexible.

    Recipe #46906

A delicious & heady combination of good red wine, prime beef, smoked bacon, dried orange, shallots, garlic & cepes - dried forest mushrooms! A traditional French recipe with a twist - cook it in the crock pot for ease and convenience. Wonderful in the depths of winter, but equally lovely with crisp salads, crusty bread & baked potatoes during the summer - the addition of orange making it a lighter beef dish than the more usual Beef Daube or Beef Burgundy. An excellent choice for a family reunion or celebration, as it is VERY well behaved! It also freezes well and is a great pie filling idea.

    Recipe #176183

Makes lots of yummy gravy for rice or potatoes.

    Recipe #48739

I made this recipe just 2 days ago using several of my original recipes. Made various modifications and additions to have this turn out so tasty.

    Recipe #199326

Portillo's restaurant, in Chicago, are famous for their beef sandwiches. This would be one of those dishes you could make for your family and freeze leftovers for another meal.

    Recipe #29955

I have been making this for years. It is easy to put together and tastes yummy! Some times I throw veggies in the crock pot also for an all in one dinner.

    Recipe #323179

I like this recipe because it is a breeze to make and everyone in my family loves it. It tastes great over noodles or rice.

Ok I confess, I've never made this recipe. In fact I don't even own a crock pot, but I know there are some crock pot lovers out there, so here's another one to try.

    Recipe #40074

I have another tried and true French Dip recipe and also use another great one here on 'zaar, but when I went to make it the other day, I was lacking all of the ingredients to make either...so the following was born. Turns out everyone liked it better than either of my previous ones, so I figured I better post it for posterity!

    Recipe #193945

Really easy and inexpensive dinner that the entire family enjoys. Even my picky four year old! This recipe is a mixture of many other recipes I have tried in the past. I have also used red cabbage at the end, and found it tasty for the adults, the children weren't terribly impressed with that addition though. Edit*** I have used this recently after trying new experiments and this recipe needs something I think. Something savory, maybe a couple anchovies? I do not know, but please experiment! I am also cutting the V8 to 2 cups as the 3 cups in the slow cooker seems to be too watery.
