Delectable litle pasties or pastry parcels filled with tender chunks of chicken breast and French Boursin cream Cheese, delicious! These are so easy to make, as they use cooked chicken breast, making them very handy for any leftovers you might have. France meets England in these pastry parcels, I have taken the idea of a traditional pasty, then added a little French touch with the Boursin cheese, thus dispensing with any need to make a white sauce to bind the chicken! Great for lunch boxes, picnics, lunch, supper or a light meals or snacks.NB: (I would not advise re-heating these, as the chicken has already been cooked twice before - they are just as delicious warm or cold.)

My biggest challenge with these wraps is not eating all the cilantro pesto with chips before I can get them rolled up. Perhaps you will be more disciplined. If not, make a double batch of the pesto so you can snack without consequences. These a great healthy lunch, and are also pretty cut into slices and served as an appetizer.

This is my variation on the Barefoot Contessa's tabbouleh recipe. She's such an inspiration - her recipes are lovely! This is so yummy! The Inca red quinoa is nutty and has a great texture. The colors are wonderful and it is a very lovely looking dish for gatherings and potlucks.

I was thumbing thru a cookbook titled *Jewish Cooking* by Gail Weinshel Katz, not really looking for anything in particular or expecting to find something not already entered on RZ … when the photo of this recipe spoke to me & said “Look at me -- I’m an ingredient-friendly, no-cook, make ahead & easy quick fix. I’m tasty & eye-popping pretty too, dontcha think?” I confess to saying aloud “Ok, already, you had me w/that pic!” This recipe may be Jewish in origin, but it is such an easy-fix & my intent is for it to be all-occasion at my table & I adapted the recipe slightly to allow for that. *Enjoy* !

Another one of my savoury "cake" recipes from France. This recipe is slightly more substantial than my Recipe #316039, as this recipe contains ham with white wine and port! Serve this as alternative sandwich bread or as a light snack spread with cream cheese or butter. This cake recipe will also make fantastic little appetisers if the loaf is cut into small cubes and served with olives, cubes of cheese and savoury spreads. Please note that the texture of this savoury cake is NOT like a sweet dessert cake - it will be slightly holey with a robust and slightly chewy texture, almost like sourdough.

The grilled sandwich with a deliciously Greek 'twist'.

This recipe comes from a Cook's Country Magazine. It's phenomenal. I made it for a get together and it was gone in a flash. It's really worth finding the ciabatta bread for. I got mine from Safeway.

This is a great summer meal and quick and easy to put together and tastes wonderful. Refreshing served with the cucumber sauce and is even low in fat. I think this came from Quick Cooking. It's a favorite in our house.

Found on the Betty Crocker site. The "bread" for these sandwiches actually bakes around the ham, turkey and cheese filling!

    Recipe #65548

While watching an advertisement for Arby's chicken salad sandwiches, my husband asked if I could make it - I did, and it tastes great! The nuts and fruit give it a zippy flavor, plus it's easy to whip up. It makes a wonderful summer sandwich. Enjoy!

    Recipe #150099

This is my own invention. You can make it as hot or mild as you like, I make mine medium. You can use the chicken salad on greens if you wish!

    Recipe #249196

My mom got a recipe for these from one of her friends and we've tweaked it a little. I brought a tray of them to my in-laws for a get together once and now I'm asked to make them ALL THE TIME! This is one of my most requested recipes.

    Recipe #199505

A coworker named Sharon brought these to a potluck at work and everyone ate them up! I stole the recipe from her and have been making them for myself for nearly every potluck I know she isn't at....hehe...evil....

    Recipe #109732

Delicious beef sandwiches I found on the Taste of Home Website posted by Donna Blakenheim and wanted to share with you all. I doubled the garlic. Nice and easy with great results!

    Recipe #306993

This recipe came out of one of the free pork leaflets from the National Pork Board.

    Recipe #115331

My mother found this recipe in a magazine years ago. We have since lost the recipe and just been slapping them together without one.

    Recipe #275109

Okay...so the truth is out...I love spam! This makes a terrific sandwich spread :)

    Recipe #182317

From Rachael Ray. I wanted to see the calorie/fat count in this, so I decided to post it !

This is a nice dish to serve for a buffet because it's simple and the rosemary mayonnaise can be prepared 2 days ahead of time. I serve this with the little cocktail breads on the side so that guests can build their own sandwich and have always been asked for the mayonnaise recipe. I also use the leftover mayonnaise on salmon and sandwiches.
