A MUST HAVE for anyone that loves Italian food. This is a extremely easy recipe and it is great for dinner parties or a romantic dinner with your Honey. Try it and let me know what you think! I buy pre-sliced mushrooms and pre-made broth and it really cuts down the time you spend preping.
I got this recipe from a blog called Kalyn's Kitchen. I made it tonight and it is plate licking good. We felt the sauce was just perfect, not too much of anything. The sauce is a little thin but delicious. Hope you like it.
From WiGal's recipe#266812. The salt substitute we use is called No Salt, which has no sodium at all. This was made for Make It Healthier Tag. Using homemade broth is usu. a better choice, because it is richer with more flavor and less salt.
All in one dish without the need to cook pasta in a separate pan. It has been a hit with my family. I found this recipe from the Family Circle magazine and adjusted to meet our family's tastes. They estimated that each serving costs less than $2 per serving (from 2006 estimates).
I found this recipe in our local newspaper, and tweaked it just a bit to fit my tastes. It is a fantastic, easy, no-sweat dish to make in the summer because it doesn't require heating the oven up. We ate it over cooked egg noodles, with a side of cooked broccoli, and a salad. The sauce is just divine!! The leftovers are also good cold for a quick lunch. Yummy!!:)
Try this recipe if you're looking for something quick and easy with great flavor. The pasta cooks right in the skillet so there's no need for extra pots. Don't make this without the sun-dried tomatoes because it will not have as much flavor. My DH recently told me that this is his favorite of the pasta dishes I cook. Recipe is from America's Test Kitchen.
I searched for this recipe on-line. I found a link to it from a Knoxsville, TN news station that Carrabba's Italian Grill was the presenter for chicken marsala. It includes the spices for the chicken before grilling. WBIR.com-recipes. Update: I always use 8 oz. fresh mushrooms and add them while sauteeing the shallots, so changed the recipe to my way of making it. Also can add more cornstarch for a thicker sauce, but start with the stated amount and add more to liking.
An easy, quick dinner that I often make on busy weeknights. There is nothing like the heavenly scent of paprika slowly simmering into chicken! This goes very well with pasta or rice. from original at allrecipes.com.
I felt creative one night and threw a little of this and that in a pan and came up with this really yummy recipe. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do! PLEASE let me know if you try this and what you think! 6 WW points plus
I love this meal for it's ease and down home goodness. You can make this one dish meal in less than 30 minutes. It's pretty too! You could substitute chopped carrots for the red pepper if you'd prefer. It reminds me of chicken pot pie without the 'pie'. Comfort! It makes A LOT so you can serve half of it and freeze the other half for a quick dinner some other night. From Simple & Delicious courtesy of Danette Forbes. *NOTE: this recipe does not include many spices, etc.. It is meant to be a comfort food type of recipe. If you enjoy spice, go ahead and throw some in!! This recipe is also versatile in terms of what veggies you like. Have fun with it. :)
