I was watching Oprah one day and she had Dr. Oz on talking about his diet book. They made a smoothie and I tried to make it by memory and came up with this. It was so different than the one posted on her website I figured I'd just post my version because I know it's good! I like this because it's so easy... I drink one for breakfast every morning on the way to work.

I found this recipe on the America's Test Kitchen (Cooks Illustrated) website. I like it because it has a very light cream cheese flavor and isn't too sweet or overpowering.

A little twist on the hummus recipe. The green chilies gives this dip a nice slight kick. This also makes a great sandwich spread.

    Recipe #94308

This garlic butter is much better than any storebought. Vampires beware...it is a garlic lover's treat! Can easily be frozen in ice cube trays (make sure to plastic wrap the tray, or it will smell up your freezer) or ziplocks.

This is an incredibly good clone of the real thing. A friend emailed this recipe to me.

This is a great tartar sauce to serve with fish (we also use it with fried shrimp). This recipe has been in my collection for years, I don't remember where I got it.

I got this recipe a few years back from another recipe site and the whole family enjoys it. Quick to put together for a different holiday side dish. Now that I look at the recipe again a little drizzle of lemon juice might be nice.

An Asian style dish. You can also just make the sauce for dipping veggies into. Also you can add cooked diced chicken breast to the dish.

    Recipe #49547

A wonderful fruit salad to make when fruit is at its best! It can be made a day ahead and you can use any fruit that you like.

    Recipe #115720

Another one of Mom's recipes. (I know I know, What can I say, I love her cooking!) She wouldn't give me the recipe for years but then I managed to work it out of her... and then I ran right here to share! Ok, so I've had it a long time, but I still thought I'd share anyway. Enjoy!
