Got this recipe from Taste of Home Magazine Aug/Sept 2012 issue. Great for a picnic or cookout for a crowd.

    From Uncle Ben's flyer.

    Recipe #254496

This is actually how I make my Broccoli Casserole, but I actually picked up the wrong ingredient and it turned out great and I also got alot of compliments.

    Recipe #144795

Any recipe that calls for a canned cream soup is kinda white trashy, in my opinion, but you gotta admit it tastes good and it's easy--and kids actually like it! ( In fact this is the recipe that finally got my son to say "I like broccoli!" ) I try to use a reduced fat cream soup and sour cream to keep the calories down. This is a great side dish for meatloaf, Salisbury steak or any hamburger-based dish.

    Recipe #395558

I had this at a friends house this week and had to have the recipe! It is so good! She made it with Pam butter flavored spray instead of the butter and it was still fabulous!

    Recipe #93720

My daughter gave me this strawberry pretzel salad recipe. It is a favorite of her in-laws. I tried it and it is delicious!

    Recipe #29400

This is a wonderful easy side dish to chicken or meat and any leftovers freeze wonderful, it may also be baked in a 10-inch deep-dish pie plate and cut into wedges, this may be doubled but I would still only use one package or spinach or maybe 1-1/2 packages adding in too much spinach will overpower all other ingredients, prep time does not include cooking the rice --- FOR FREEZING prepare recipe as directed but do not bake, wrap pan in plastic wrap then tightly in foil and freeze, to serve thaw over night in refrigerator, remove wrapping bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until hot.

Nice and crispy! Sweet with a Kick! Top that juicy steak with these! If you want more of a kick add 1 teaspoon of Old Bay to the milk mixture as well!

    Recipe #55244

Do you remember Red-Hots? This dish my mother used to make for her kids. I love them still.

    Recipe #18008

This is a delicious butternut squash recipe from Ina Garten / The Barefoot Contessa. We really enjoy this during the holidays. It is best when the squash is cut in medium to large chunks so that the outside gets a maple-flavored crust, and the inside stays soft and delicious.

I find it totally amazing, that children and men ALL LOVE THIS RECIPE! As for the Female of our species we just love this for the flavor and the health benefits it brings our families. Roasted brings out a wonderful sweetness in this dish. The Garlic is roasted to a tan color is creamy good. You can just pop them in your mouth. Or you can spread them on your florets or fresh bread. Just be sure to scoop up some of the rosemary, olive oil and black pepper that may have escaped to the bottom of the dish. For Halloween check out Recipe #396674 version of my recipe.

    Recipe #106251

This was originally a recipe for hashbrown casserole I received at church. I made it so many times, that I forgot some of the ingredients and added some of my own. My husband and his brothers would rather have this than anything else I fix in the wintertime. THIS IS TRULY THE PERFECT COMFORT FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

    Recipe #113484

The famous Berghoff's restaurant, in Chicago, closed it's doors this past week after 107 years in business. Their recipes were a closely guarded secret but they did share the ingredient list for their famed creamed spinach. The Chicago Tribune food editors played around with the list and came up with this recipe, which tastes exactly like the spinach at the restaurant.

    Recipe #158490

This is quite similar to the creamed spinach at Boston Market, well so I'm told anyway! --- this is a great side dish, even people that hate spinach love this, it's great to serve along side a holiday turkey or a ham dinner, or at any meal --- I also like to saute about 2 teaspoons fresh minced garlic and a pinch of cayenne pepper in the butter for about 2 minutes before adding in the flour but that is optional, add in some grated Parmesan cheese too if desired, this complete recipe can be doubled :)

    Recipe #77206

A nice side dish served with savoury chicken and crusty white bread. A nice subtle blending of flavours.

Another recipe from my long-lost, but newly found treasure trove of recipes. There was a note w/this 1 that the recipe originated at the www.johnsonville.com site. I know why I saved this. DH views potatoes as a required part of every main meal, but I get bored w/repeat versions so am always on the lookout for new potato taste treats. Enjoy! .. *Edited to Add* -- This recipe was included in Germany-Benelux for ZWT6 due to its use of Gouda cheese as a primary ingredient & is supported by Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gouda_(cheese) :-)

    Recipe #211006

Bake the potato dish right along with your roast or chicken. This is my family's favourite version of scalloped potatoes.

    Recipe #86937

This is a low-carb stand-in for mashed potatoes. The spices and cream that are added to steamed and pureed cauliflower give this dish the taste, texture and appearance of mashed potatoes. Serve this up with any entrée that goes well with mashed potatoes, and I swear you'll never miss the spuds.

    Recipe #94123

These are fantastic with burgers and steaks, or focaccia or anything that you want to use them with --- these freeze very well, to freeze just divide into small plastic containers then defrost in the microwave or thaw in refrigerator overnight

    Recipe #89007

Very savory and makes for a very hearty side dish.
