This is from an older Betty Crocker cookbook. Makes great, flaky, delicate pie crusts. This is for a 2 crust 9" pie. Must use waxed paper to roll out. Patch tears or holes with leftover pieces. If something bad happens, don't re-roll - throw out and do over.
Bar-sized apple pie. When I make this recipe, I sub greek yogurt for the sour cream and add more than stated - until it is a good texture to roll. Also, I roll between 2 sheets of waxed paper, peel the top piece, lay back down, flip over, peel the other sheet and flip onto pan.
Recipe adapted from Good Housekeeping June 2013. Recipe called for grilled chicken breasts which I left out. (1 lb, rubbed with lime peel, salt and pepper, grilled, cooled, chopped). I couldn't find any watercress - used spring mix.
