I don't remember where I got this recipe but it's good and healthy! If you enjoy a stronger flavor feel free to increase the garlic, ginger and spices. I usually do in all recipes I make but I hadn't made this in awhile so I posted the original.
I adapted these from a King Arthur recipe. We enjoyed these healthy wheat free cookies. If you double the recipe and use 2 cookie sheets reverse them halfway through baking (top to bottom, bottom to top). Watch for over baking.
This is from "The Philippine Cookbook". It's a great tasting recipe. My favorite. I think the recipes that use coconut milk have Indonesian influence due to their proximity. This recipe can also be made with pork or chicken.
I found this on a Ralph's grocery store recipe card. I LOVE hearts of palm! I think mushrooms, olives and onions would be great in this also. And I'll probably try it with tuna and I bet it would be good with salami too! Oooh...and I'll be topping mine with feta. Yum!
This is from "The Everything Cocktail Parties and Drinks Book" by Cheryl Charming. "If you find yourself wondering about this martini, rest assured that as weird as it sounds, it does taste exactly like a Tootsie Roll. Taste the two together and compare---if you dare."
I made this up while on phase 1 of the South Beach Diet. I was trying to keep fresh cut up veggies on hand and I love tuna so this was quick to throw together when I didn't want to think about what to eat. It is also very colorful...I love green, purple and red together. I also love the spicy tuna with the crunch and flavors of the fresh veggies. My favorites are radish sprouts and purple cabbage...sometimes I'll eat it with just those.
