From www.TopSecretRecipes.com I fell in love with this appetizer at Ruby Tuesday's and found a copy cat recipe. Its the best !! If its a lazy day I just make the sauce and bake some popcorn shrimp. Enjoy !
These delicious Shrimpcakes are served with the recipe I posted for Chili Lime Sauce, or Sweet Chili Sauce. I use Franks Sweet Chili Sauce. It's a new product and can be found with Franks Red Hot Sauce in the grocery store. Either way, they are wonderful! NOTE: Prep time includes time in the fridge.
Serve this delicious and "Oh So Spicy" shrimp dish with baguettes of hot French bread, generous napkins and a bowl for the shrimp shells. Truly a feast to enjoy and finger licking good. This came from a newspaper probably 15 years ago!
This is one of those dishes that my kids would never even taste because they didn't like the smell of the lobster. Now that they have tried it I have to share it! I usually just throw this together and never worry about measurements, but this is my best guess. Add or subtract to your liking.
A great appetizer or a sandwich for lunch, - easy, quick, fun for BBQ's picnics, and can be made a couple of hours ahead. A nice summertime snack. I found this in one of those small books at the check out counter years ago and added the cabbage and cucumber which made a nice texture and grilled the shrimp vs steaming it, but you could certainly add carrots, zucchini, onions, anything you want. Just a nice easy appetizer or sandwich for lunch or even dinner.
From Robin Miller's Quick Fix Meals, this is quick and easy to make. You will probably have extra sauce, so feel free to increase the amount of salmon and make salmon cakes with the leftovers, as Robin suggests.
