The best part about this dressing is you can add the spices or herbs you like, and LF.

I LOVE this dressing on a salad of mixed greens, onion, tomato, cucumber, green pepper, celery....oh, heck...just about anything!!! I created this one a while back when I was experimenting to find a good dressing without oil, and I have been using it ever since. If I am making only a single-serve salad, I estimate the amounts and add more swetener or spices to fit my taste. Super-healthy and super-tasty!!!

Very flavorful dressing for crisp greens or vegetable salads.

Simple, quick ranch-style dressing posted per a request. (If you prefer a thick Style dressing or for use on baked potatoes, substitute sour cream for all or part of the buttermilk).

This is an excellent change from the traditional creamy tuna pasta salad. Makes a great main course for a light dinner or lunch, and is also great on a bbq buffet or to take to a potluck. Note that you can prepare the sauce while the pasta is cooking, making this quick too. While it keeps well for a day or two, you can also cut it in half to feed two.

Fabulous light dish that's great on a hot summers night. An easy recipe to swap different ingredients around. Coriander (cilantro) instead of basil is yum! Also some crispy bacon or prosciutto goes well. Please note an Australian tablespoon is 4 teaspoons.

    Recipe #214970

I was desperately searching for the rather plain macaroni salad served at Ono Hawaiian BBQ and this one comes close! Apparently, this is a typical macaroni salad from the islands. I've also made it with tuna instead of crab, and edamame (soy beans) instead of peas, and it turned out great!

A nice, simple salad from Elizabeth Powell. It also travels well for picnics in a thermos.

    Recipe #185499

This is a really good three bean salad. I used to make this all the time and I just found it in our family cookbook where I'd submitted the recipe.

A wonderful make ahead salad side dish and so easy to prepare.

    Recipe #130649

I like to buy a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store to make this delightful recipe. Walnuts and snow peas add crunch and the grapes add a little sweetness to this salad.

This is a refreshing and different take on potato salad.

This easy salad takes just minutes to make, but should be chilled for at least 45 minutes for flavors to marry. Great served with grilled meats or chicken.
