I am giving you a choice of three toppings they are all good. There are two different toppings in the picture Bacon Maple syrup and Browned Butter Sage. I just finished enjoying a butternut squash with GINGER marmalade &Chili flakes. 3 Tbsp Ginger marmalade, 1/2 tsp chili flakes, mix together and spoon into squash cavity - I really liked this one
This is the BEST way to eat a sweet potato. We have baked sweet potatoes with our steaks instead of Idaho potatoes. It's a nice complement to chicken and beef - or any other meat that I can think of! This can also be made on the grill or tossed in the coals if you are camping!
I made these before a busy week and discovered that they are a covenient, healthy and savory quick meal that's great for travel or a short lunch. I'm not a vegan, but I use vegan cheese because it's much quicker to grate, tastes good and melts instantly. Baking the burritos allows the tortillas to create a crispy seal around the contents so nothing falls out.
I guess you can say this is a crustless quiche. This I made because I had a lot of left over broccoli and it came out quite good.Great for a brunch. Serve as a meatless lunch or dinner with a side salad. Can be served hot or cold.
An Indianised way to cook cabbage, and our favorite preparation of the vegetable. If you have a grinder, take the trouble to roast and grind the coriander seeds - the freshly roasted flavor is worth the effort.
This soup is a favorite pantry meal for my family. Easy, easy, easy to make and nutritious. I got the recipe from the back of a soup can but have improvised this soup many times. Feel free to adjust seasonings as you like.
I saw this recipe on T.V. somewhere several years ago, and I've been making it ever since. I get lazy and don't bother to broil the grapefrut any more, but it still tastes great! Even my 3-yr. old now eats grapefruit this way.
My friends and I used to make this for every barbeque when I was growing up. It is an adaptation of a recipe my girlfriend's dad saw on TV. Although I have no idea what that original recipe was, this one tastes soooooooooo good with barbequed anything! It is broccoli so it tastes like broccoli. If you're expecting something else then this recipe won't please you :)
This is mostly served as a side dish with pot roast and gravy, I have even made this for Sunday brunch and served it with eggs! --- to save time the potatos may be grated and kept refrigerated covered completely in cold water for up to 3 days ---I like to also add in some cayenne pepper for a little heat --- for a lighter fluffier textured kugel add in another egg with 1 teaspoon baking powder --- for Passover subsitute matzo meal for the flour.
