Probably the simplest tomato dressing for a salad there is. From Chef Michael Smith. He suggests using an immersion blender since it's easier to clean up :) Also that it might take a few minutes to get to the smooth puree.

Ranch dressing with a "kick." Good for dipping veggies as well as on salads.

A very easy French Dressing with a few twists. This is a make ahead recipe wth a yield of about 250 mls or 1/4 pint; it keeps for about 7 to 10 days with no problems at all. I have stated dried herbs & seasonings - you can use fresh herbs & seasonings too, but this decreases the keeping time slightly. The oil content in this is considerably lower than most classic French dressings - making it a healthier option, and you know what has gone into it too!

My mustard loving manbeast Dugan proclaims that this is now his favorite salad dressing. It is from The Naked Chef Jamie Oliver, so eat it while naked for best flavor.

This creamy Bleu Cheese dressing is the best I've ever had. My computer guy gave the recipe to me.

This recipe was adopted after Mean Chef (IHHDRO) left the site. His original comments were, "A very mustardy, robust dressing for salad greens. Can also be used as a marinade for fish. Recipe adapted from Mariel Hemingway." I first prepared it at the urging of Shelly, and wasn't sorry. My original review stated, "This is a very mustardy dressing. I followed Shelly's suggestion of reducing the mustard and adding more to taste as I blended the dressing. I used a dijon dressing and black olives, as this is what I had on hand. I also cut back the recipe to yield only enough for a couple of salads. I knew that my hubby wouldn't be interested, and wanted to make only enough for me to use in a day or so. The flavors are bright and fresh and really add to simple tossed salads. I like the fact that I am gaining the nutrition of the spinach in this dressing." This has become one of my favorite dressings.

This is not a low fat dressing, but it tastes great. This was hit with everyone who tested it. I highly recommend this as a great salad dressing.

This is fabulous! Once you've made this you won't ever want to buy another jar or packaged mix of Ranch dressing again! It's delicious on salads or used as a dip. (Be sure to use real mayonnaise...I use Hellmans...instead of salad dressing.)

I love ranch dressing, but it's not available in Israel. They've never even heard about it! I found this somewhere on the Internet about 10 years ago. My veggie daughter loves this on tomatoes. I like it on potato latkes, of all things.

Ranch dip or dressing from scratch. I love Ranch dressing and dip. Sometimes the store is to far away. I live 30 minutes from an affordable grocery store.

A healthy alternative to oil-based salad dressing that goes well with lettuce and tomato. It can also be used as a sandwich spread in place of mayo or as a dip for veggies.
