365 Delicious Low Fat Recipes Makes 4 cups

    Recipe #510606

365 Delicious Low Fat Recipes Makes 4 cups. Try this for lasagna!

    Recipe #510605

Friends and family ask me for this recipe all the time and my husband has affectionately named it "Butter Magic." It's quick, simple, and what the old folks used to call LARRUPIN' GOOD (as in "so tasty it makes your tongue slap your brains out!") I originally created this sauce to brush on corn on the cob, but we quickly discovered it's great on any kind of veggies, potatoes, fish, shrimp, lobster, scallops, chicken, bread and popcorn. Let me know what foods you liked it on!

I started making this to use in my daughter's chocolate milk, since I am not a fan of HFCS, and a teeny bottle of organic chocolate syrup was over $4. I double the batch and store in a 32 oz rubbermaid "chug" bottle. You can store this in the fridge in any CLEAN container with a spout for several months.

A homemade version of the hard shell ice cream topping

    Recipe #37377

This is a nice "shell" sauce that is easy to make and hardens when put on ice cream.

    Recipe #151189

This is a delicious, creamy sauce. Can be used with all kinds of meats, or eaten as a dip by itself.

    Recipe #501701

My mother-in-law was a gracious lady--born and raised in the Deep South. Being a California girl all my life didn't stop me from having a real love for her southern cooking--especially her wonderful tomato gravy!

    Recipe #188355

its so simply homemade tomato sauce that i had learned when i was in italy...a sicilian originally made..

    Recipe #496210

Since the sauce is made separately, you may bake, broil, pan-fry or grill the fish.

    Recipe #239346

Making Béchamel sauce is quite easy and tastes GREAT! This is a very useful recipe if you want to make macaroni gratin, lasagna or chicken/fish with white sauce. It brings a big flavor.

It's nice to have an easy recipe for cheese sauce on hand. You can drizzle this over broccoli, cauliflower or pretty much any other favourite veggie. It is also nice tossed with pasta but you may need to increase the amount of sauce. Enjoy!

    Recipe #416181

I can't resist all the fresh strawberries, although this recipe works great with blueberries too. It's real simple, just a few ingredients and you have fresh strawberry sauce. A simple sauce to drizzle over about a million things. One of my favorite things to do is to whip something up out of nothing.

    Recipe #497635

Serve it liberally on pancakes, ice creams or just have a spoonful of it any time!

    Recipe #16391

This is so easy and great tasting. I usually whip up a Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Fudge Cake and serve as Hot Fudge Cake. Split those layers and top with the hot fudge. Heaven!

    Recipe #38421

I have been trying to replicate "Chuy's Boom Boom Sauce" for months. I was complaining to a friend that I couldn't get it right. She said, "Chicken. Try cream of chicken soup." That was it! Use more or less serrano and jalapeno peppers according to your desired heat level. The consistency is great for a sauce. If you want to eat it as a dip, use the flour.

    Recipe #405500

This TOO easy sauce, of Argentine origin, makes your steak taste like it was just dragged through the garden! Great on rare, chargrilled, flank steak.

    Recipe #21151

This recipe comes from Gloria Pitzer, The Recipe Detective. 1996

    Recipe #160375

From "The Cooking of the British Isles" by Adrian Bailey.

    Recipe #483013
