    Recipe #217364

I worked at Chi-Chi's for 16+ years. My favorite sauce over all those years was called Diablo Sauce. My favorite food to eat there was the Soft Taco Enchilada style with Diablo Sauce. A little shredded lettuce and pico de gillo on both sides. Yum!

Delicious marinade given to me years ago by a Korean woman. Excellent for any kind of meat- beef, roast, chicken, pork, ribs, and shrimp. Prep time does not include slicing meat, and cook time depends on what you are cooking and by what method, and does not include marinading time. )The longer the marinading time, the better!). Enjoy!

When Damon's Restaurant left our area, I had to create their wonderful rib sauce. This deliciously sweet, hickory-flavored sauce is my family's all-time favorite! When I want a little heat, I add some hot sauce to recipe. Great on chicken, pork chops, meatloaf, and country ribs, cooked in the oven or on the grill. It even makes good baked beans. However, for ribs that live up to their name, try the Best Babyback Ribs in Town, Recipe #57185. This recipe came from my cookbook, "True Southern Family Favorites".

Once you know how to make this sauce, you will want to put it on top of everything. The wine and the shallots especially bring out the flavors of meat and poultry. This sauce will keep in the refrigerator for up to two days. Rewarm over low heat before serving.
