I got this fantastic recipe from Dr. Laurie Itcush - it was her grandmothers. It's awsome, and addictive. You can put it on ice cream, cake, graham crackers, or each other. What every floats your boat - go for it!
This is an simple yet delicious sauce that will go well with many different things, you may omit the pineapple tidbits if desired, and if you are not a lover of garlic you may omit that too ----this sauce goes well with my recipe#132546
I tried different sauces but didn't find the taste I was looking for so I threw some stuff together and I was very happy with the results. If you try it and tweak it, let me know. I edited the recipe after reading the great suggestions.
A friend of mine recently served this at her dinner party, and said "it couldn't be easier", and I said "it couldn't be more delicious" and all other guests agreed. It disappeared in minutes!!! It is a delicious and quick appetizer, or could also be the "bread" accompaniment to any main course, either way, your family and friends will "gobble" it up!! And, it is easy and fun for kids to make and enjoy too!!
These are so yummy! Even if a bit messy to make. You can also shape the pretzels into letters or numbers. Kids love to do that. You can also brush with butter after you take the out of the oven and sprinkle cinnamon sugar over them. My Kids love them that way.
