Very good sauce for grilling meats or on top of your meatloaf . This sauce can be refrigerated for future use. We have used this sauce for about 25 years. It was on the back of a soup can. It is very good--the best Iever had,

The BBQ sauce recipe is from veganmenu.blogspot.whatever as adapted from Slashfood and finally as slightly adapted by me. Serving suggestion: baked tofu, (cheesy) grits and spinach salad. Note: the barbecue sauce is best if prepared 12-48 hours in advance.

This recipe appeared in the Toronto Star many years ago as a result of a contest to create a sauce similar to Swiss Chalet's barbecue sauce. Home economist Kay Spicer created the winning recipe. Anne's note: Swiss Chalet is a chain of Canadian chicken restaurants. This sauce is brushed on the chicken before cooking and served at the table in small containers to dip the chicken pieces in. My note: This comes together quickly if you have all of your ingredients ready and at-hand. Divide the sauce...use at least 1 cup for basting (rotisserie method is best) and the rest for dipping. This is as close the real thing as you can get. Saving to 'Zaar for safe-keeping. Enjoy!

Throughout the years, I have tried many kinds of bottled BBQ sauces. None have ever been a real keeper for us. Then I started searching and experimenting with homemade sauces. This one appeared in my email one day (from a friend) and I've used it ever since. We use it for chicken, pork, and beef. I think it makes around 5 cups (give or take). So be sure to store the leftovers in your fridge. Hope you enjoy it too!

This is the best bbq sauce I have ever had!!! This is a tweaked up version of the Neely's. I often quadruple it and can it into jars so I don't have to make it every time we want bbq. I often substitute molasses or honey for the sugar. To spice it up I add seeded jalapenos for some of the green pepper.

This is from the Favorite Brand Names Cookbook. I'm trying to get some of the recipes up here before I have to return the book to the library. If anyone tries it, please let me know how you like it!

An all purpose BBQ sauce goes well with beef, chiccken and pork.

I love trying different kinds of bbq sauce! I am especially fond of any homemade sauce that doesn't have a ketchup base!

If you want some great BBQ for ribs and pork try this. My family has me make this every time I come home and they just devour it! I usually make extra servings so I can bottle it up and give it to my family when they come over :) It's a great idea to use as a gift item in a basket with some smoked cheese and crackers.

This is a tantalizing flavor sensation. The Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce is equally as wonderful served over steak and this is also great over a burger. You just have to talk your boyfriend or hubby into parting with 2 TBSP of his beloved Jack Daniels! But in the end it will be worth it...

I've been making this BBQ sauce for years and I finally wrote down the recipe at my oldest instance. This sauce is thin, somewhat sweet with a little kick at the end. I use this to marinade our ribs as well as for basting, dipping etc.

This recipe was adapted from Racheal Ray's Tasty Travels, Episode Best Barbeque and is from the Cowgirl Hall of Fame Bar-B-Q & Western Grill in Sante Fe, New Mexico. Enjoy! This is a southwestern and Western recipe.

My DH loves BBQ sauce, so I am always trying different recipes...but I always seem to come back to this one! I truely am not a big fan of ketchup, so whenever I have to use it, I really have to mask it's taste (big time). This barbecue's main ingredient is tomato juice, so this sauce works very well for me! This sauce is excellent on all different types of meats, but is especially good on BBQ Chicken Pizza
