This juicy chicken and tangy cream sauce are wonderful for lunch or supper. On the go? These are great warm or cold and make great lunch, picnic or beach fare! They are very portable when wrapped in foil. Perfect with fresh island fruit and a cold tropical drink!

From the Texas Beef Council posted for the Greek portion of the Zaar World Tour. Feel free to up the seasonings on the beef if you like it really flavorful. As Saraghina states, leftover roast would be great here too!
I have accepted an egg salad cook off challenge, and am delighted to submit my entry here, because it is a winner. Developed in my own kitchen with no assistance from outside sources, other than internal verbal encouragement. Lip-Smacks and loud Cheers of YUM YUM could be heard throughout the house; every great chef strives to hear YUM YUM. Warning: Please do not attempt to express an opinion, with your mouth full of egg salad; it is off-putting, and not a pretty sight.
Simple old-fashioned chicken salad which is perfect for sandwiches or stuffing tomatoes. Although the recipe calls for boiling uncooked chicken leftover chicken would also work fine and give wonderful flavor to the chicken salad. Recipe source: local newspaper
This is a great summer meal and quick and easy to put together and tastes wonderful. Refreshing served with the cucumber sauce and is even low in fat. I think this came from Quick Cooking. It's a favorite in our house.
Inspired by peacefulnightdove’s lovely & yummy looking photo today of “Easy Beef Gyros” by mama’s kitchen & because beef is so expensive here in Iceland, I went looking for the classic gyro using lamb cubes … only to find it hasn’t been entered here on RZ. I decided to chg that & found this recipe at RecipeLand.com. Its simple title was “Greek Gyro”, but it’s way more than that – it’s The Authentic Greek Gyro - “A Greek Grill Party” (even if served inside). It’s clearly more work than hybrid versions & requires planning, but I bet it’s well worth the effort … esp if you’re able to get the real thick Greek yoghurt & eliminate prep step #3. (Time was given by the site & didn't include marination, but did include time to make the yoghurt which can be eliminated.) I hope you enjoy these!
Another variation of the classic hamburger! It goes on and on! This will become one of your favorites.Chop up some jalapeños for those with the cast iron stomach. Chipotle peppers are smoked jalapeños. They usually come in cans and have a vinegar based sauce. You can omit the egg if you serve your meat rare or medium-rare.Ole'.To add as note re: the burger patties not holding together, after reviewing all of the reviews, it is my descision not to change the recipe. I make these often and have never had the problem. If recipes like meatloaf, etc.and this one don't hold together, more breadcrumbs are needed. If too dry, add some more liquid such a a few drops of water.
Basic idea from BHG magazine. This was a HUGE hit with the family! If you like BLTs and also like salsa, you will love this twist! So easy, yet the best sandwich I've had / made in I can't remember when.
